Not possible... I clearly remember him having much more assists. Doubt he got 10 assists in the FA Cup alone. Dont think he played much in the Carling Cup

According to UEFA site, Torres has 4 assists in CL, and according to soccernet he has 4 in PL.

Yeah looks brilliant for 50 million.

So what do you expect for 50million then? When we signed him he was a very injury prone player going through a shocking spell, now as the stats show he has become more of a team player as there is less pressure for him to score.

Not sure why people obsess over the 50 million. He was never worth it, he will never be worth it, it was a crazy price. But he is a good player, who had a decent season, despite what the pundits (who now somehow feel they are experts in psychology and body language) think. And he may yet return to his very best.

Some pundits have been right though, there is no doubt the low confidence he had for so long effected his performances on the pitch and it was only getting worse until he eventually started scoring etc.

When he wasen't scoring he was racking up assists unlike many players who would go hiding. He was also rotated a lot last season with Drogba which wouldn't have helped. On the whole Torres had a good season last year.

Some people till going on about Torres' pricetag I see some things never change, I think he did well last season with the service he had. Any striker would struggle to score with the supporting widemen he had in my opinion, I think he could well be back to his top form next season with the supply he'll get and given he is now the undisputed main striker at the club.

Also, I still can not believe we won the Champions League I only just picked my jaw up the flaw. Football is unbelievable sometimes...

Drogba has got a clause that allows him to leave Shangai Shenhua for free if Barcelona came calling. He will meet the Spanish club tomorrow

I'd genuinely love it if he went to Barca. As long as we don't play them in the CL that is..
