Maybe its just me but I am just as excited to see Marin in Blue. Had his best season at Bremen when he was played on the left alongside a conventional No. 10 (Ozil), his problems started when he was shifted to CAM where he was was pretty bad

But at Chelsea he will get a chance to play alongside a proper No. 10 in Mata/Hazard. Hopefully he works hard because he can be a star

I was so happy when the news broke that we were signing Marin. I do believe he stayed at Bremen a year or two too long but there is no doubt he has great potential.

Dynamo Kiev president Rezo Chokhonelidze on Sheva's future: 'Shevchenko will do something under his good friend Roman Abramovich.' #CFC

Dynamo Kiev have also confirmed that Andriy Shevchenko is set to take a coaching role at Chelsea. #CFC

******* love this to happen!!!!!

A coaching staff including Zola, Sheva, Desailly, Makelele would be awesome.

Hazard saying all the right things in his first interview with the Chelsea Magazine- Link is here

Plus what does everyone think we are going to do with Benayoun? Sell him or farm him out on loan again?

Also I hope the club gives Kalas a chance to do well in the EPL. He was very good for Vitesse last season and was one of the main reasons they are in Europe now. Deserves better opportunities

Oh yeah and Luiz coming on tour. He has not been selected in the Brazil Olympics squad. Why was he not at Pre-Season training though?

Bit of Twitter news for the lads:

Official news: no Julio #Cesar and no #Maicon in #Inter squad leaving today for the pre-season training in the mountains.

Chelsea are are set to have completed the signing of Victor Moses in the next 24 hours - in a deal worth up to £10m #CFC #FantasticNews

Random Stat:

83 - The number of touches of the ball by Fernando Torres at Euro 2012. Intermittent.

Moses and Maicon would be fantastic additions. Maicon with his experience, attacking verve and the fact that he is still a solid player who can give world-class performances if his minutes are managed properly. Moses who can be a star and that price, low risk-high upside move....

Modric please!

Also apparently Marin had spent his summer at Cobham getting to know the club instead of going on holiday during that time. Also mentioned that he preferred to play on the wings and hopes he can give a lot of assists to the strikers in his words

Also Claudio Pizzaro played a part in Marin's decision to move to Chelsea. Encouraged him to join the Blues

Genuinely excited to see Marin, offers us something different from our other attacking players and adds a new dimension to the attack

Was just about to post this lol, just shows how great of a club it is to be at if someone like Pizzaro enjoyed his time and he barely played (scored 2 goals both against Birmingham in separate games). I am as excited to see Marin next season as i am Hazard and that is the truth.

Here is the link to the interview.

I think over the years as managers have come and gone, the team has banded closer as a result. I remember Torres mentioning in his first interview after leaving Liverpool that he found that the Chelsea dressing room was more tight-knit and more easy-going than the Liverpool dressing room

Also Hazard mention that Joe Cole played a role in his move as well. Told Hazard that he had a great time at Chelsea and encouraged him to move there

So if Modric to Madrid is apparently a done deal... Anyone think we should turn our sights to Nuri Sahin then? He cant be too happy that he has fallen even lower in the pecking order and that is behind 2 world-class players like Alonso and Modric who he would find nearly impossible to dislodge

Not to mention Sami Khedira and Lassana Diarra, I think Diarra just likes staying at Madrid for money, not interested in playing football obviously.

meh.. Deal not confirmed yet so nothing else to say really. Honestly would be gutted if this was true. Wanted Modric more than anyone else

I would rather see Modric at Chelsea than at Real Madrid, they can't have all them talented midfielders and use them all sufficiently.

Moses should have done another season at Wigan, but I'm sure we can replace him. Personally, I think he's just thrown his career away because he's never going to start for Chelsea.

I'm really excited about Marin, probably more so than Hazard because I've not seen Marin play for years. Also looks as if his attitude has changed if whats said is true about Cobham.

Relating back to Chelsea, Victor Moses and Maicon would be two very good signings, I think Maicon is vulnerable to pace against him though, so for a defensive option for a Right Back you would use Ivanovic, but against inferior opposition Maicon would be very useful, definitely better defensively and probably attacking wise as well than Bosingwa.

I think if these two signings go through you should challenge for everything next year, although you still have not addressed one key area as of yet, probably the most important, a CM Playmaker (someone like Modric/Moutinho etc.) to link the play up.

I got that Cobham thing off the Chelsea site so it is true... Lets wait and see. Hopefully his attitude has improved

Chelsea may play around 60 games next season so if he does not get at least 20 appearances (injury free) then i will be surprised.

I do agree one of them will make our squad better but i said weeks ago that Lampard seemed to play that role sensationaly towards the end of the season so there is no reason why he couldn't do it next season.
