BBC report on tonights game between Team GB and Brazil:

Brazil took an early grip on the contest and at times mesmerised their bewildered opponents with a well-honed willingness to pass and move, constantly seeking space to exploit.
Oscar, reportedly heading to Chelsea, was particularly superb in this respect, with a gift for finding space both to receive possession and pick out a team-mate.

Another line, this time from Eurosport - But with Oscar running the show in the middle of the park, Brazil always looked likely to add to their lead.

Going by that performance 25mill for Oscar looks like in time it may be an absolute steal. Great performance by Bertrand too playing out of position.

Not sure you can take too much, from a game against a clearly unprepared GB side.

If anyone noticed, Oscar talked to Daniel Sturridge before kick-off and indicated to him that he wanted to exchange shirts after the game.

Think it a bogus story tbh. Dortmund are never going to accept a bid lower than 20m and Torres is the undisputed No. 1 Striker at the club as the board/owner has indicated to him. The team is being built to his strengths so he should propser next season

Also Willian has come out and said he wants to move to Chelsea putting pressure on Shakhtar to get a deal done...

Shakhtar president Rinat Akhmetov has also been quoted as saying that Willian can leave for €30m, and Willian insists that Lucescu must have got his figures wrong.

"I don't know what the coach said, but the correct value was €25million," he told Globo Esporte.

"But regardless of the value, of course I really wanted to play for a club like Chelsea, a club that won the Champions League.

"I'm really annoyed that the board didn't let me go. It would have been good for me and for the club too.

"I'd play in a big league and would be able to grow as a player. This is not a message to anyone, everyone knows I want to leave."

Willian does not believe Chelsea have necessarily dropped their interest in him despite closing in on other targets such as Oscar.

He explained: "Chelsea had already reached an agreement regarding Oscar when they made that last offer to sign me.

"I'm sure it won't be a problem as we are different kinds of players. He is more like a playmaker and I am more like an attacking midfielder.

"But it's a matter of waiting. A lot can still happen."

We need a back up for Torres. I wouldnt take that risk and keep Lukaku as a back up.

Not saying we should pay crazy money for a back up striker, but we most definitely need one. Either buy a player who can play as a striker as effectively as playing as a winger, or just buy a striker.

And we need to start thinking about getting rid of some players.

Lukaku is hardly a risk IMO but besides we still have Danny Sturridge for the time being. Unless he leaves I cant see us going into the market for another striker, especially Lewandowski.

Keeping Lukaku wouldn't be beneficial for himself or the club. He needs a loan move.

Your signings and the players you are rumoured with are doing my head in at the minute. I feel that Torres is due a big season but I've seen a lot of you thinking that Di Matteo is going to follow suit with Spain and play primarily with no strikers and a 6 man midfield/ winger/ AMC combo.

Really want to put Torres into my fantasy footy team but for 10 million it's a big risk if you play with that formation... Thoughts?

We are definitely not going to play a 'strikerless' formation as we do not have the players to do so and they lack the understanding to play such a tactic anyways

Oscar - Good Signing????
Im not sure whether he will play enough because they have mata, hazard, marin, ramires, mikel, lampard, etc but there is no doubting he is a quality player. Chelsea could be serious title contenders if they gel because they have a solid defense, very creative midfield, an engine and a couple of quality strikers. With a RB (Debuchy/maicon) and a striker (Hulk/Cavani) i think they will take it by storm

JT and Raul Meirless have joined up with the squad. Now only awaiting the return of one Fernando Torres

I still stick to my point, if they are signing him to be a regista for me personally a great passing range is key. (Think Pirlo, Scholes, Modric etc.).

For me Oscar is a pass and move type of player but as a regista it is all about getting the supply to the forwards and dictating the game, he just does not do that for me, he is a talented player but his passing range is not at the grade of a regista.

This term "Regista"... I'm sure it didn't exist a couple of months ago.

Personally i think oscar will be quality signing for chelsea and think his passing range is more than good enough to play as DLP and will only get better, looking forward to seeing him play this season.
