Will be very happy if we manage to finalise this deal, Moses will fit right into this style of play no doubt.

looks like his finally on his way to the bridge... CLUB STATEMENT

Good stuff. Moses is a very good signing indeed. He is very young, only 21. Bags of potential to be a real class player. Versatile enough to play anywhere in the front 4. Should only improve playing alongside the likes of Mata/Hazard. And we got him for 7m pounds potentially rising to 9m pounds

At the moment our attacking players consist of Torres, Mata, Hazard, Sturridge, Ramires, Marin, Oscar and now Moses. Thats 8 players for 4 positions, so basically now we have 2 quality players for each position which is something we lacked last season: Strength in depth

Also Oscar will eventually make the transition to a deeper role. He admitted it himself. So I feel that Moses will get enough games here with us... obviously not as much as at Wigan but if he wants to prove he is capable of playing at the top, he needs to prove that he is better than our players and I think he is well capable of achieving that.

Now get the Azpilicueta deal done please and this will be a very good transfer window for the club.

Best transfer window we have had in a long time. proberly the best since Mourinhos first window actually :D

If anyone else does come in now most likely would be Hulk.

No I don't think so.... After the Moses deal, Hulk would be surplus to requirements. If anyone was to come in now, it would most likely be a cheap back-up striker although I highly doubt it

Has been an excellent transfer window. Plugged all the holes in our squad with young, hungry and very good players. Brought in players with different skill-sets to add more dimensions to our attack. And got some real bargains in the process...

Before the Transfer window I would have said our key areas to strengthen/fill were:

1. Back-Up RB (Preferably someone good in attack and young to replace Ivanovic)
2. Better wide players than Kalou/Malouda
3. A deep-lying playmaker
4. A back-up Striker to play second fiddle to Torres

We just solved the back-up RB hole with Azpilicueta. 7m is a very good price for the future RB of the La Rojas.

Wide players problem was solved with the addition of one of the most coveted players in the world in Eden Hazard. Plus some top-notch bargains in Victor Moses and Marko Marin: Players with excellent potential

The deep-lying playmaker was not solved directly however we did buy Oscar who should eventually make the transition there. This is the only transfer out of all we made that is a very big gamble on our part

Back-up striker has mostly been solved in-house, it looks like RDM is willing to give Sturridge his chance to impress in that role. Plus we have Lukaku (One of the best teenage players in the world)

All in all, one of the better and more sensible transfer window by the club. Emeleano/RDM/Abramovich have spent the money wisely and have strengthened the necessary areas. Looking forward to seeing these group of players together

Liverpool set to renew Daniel Sturridge interest - ESPNFC

Anyone know why we're not trying to loan Sahin?

Probably because we have zero chance of getting him permanently at the end of the deal. No point in having a quality player for one season before he goes off, might as well use the time to bed Oscar into the role

Also I doubt Mourinho will want him to go to us anyways

Video on Chelsea website if anyone wants to see Azpilicueta training at Cobham

I know that we dont need Hulk I dont want to see him at the club myself I think he is overpriced and slightly overrated but all because we dont need him that wouldnt stop Roman splashing loads of money on him if he wanted to lol and plus we have been linked all summer so it wouldnt surprise me much if he was signed.

Meh with Roman you never know whats going to happen. Hopefully we don't mess it up and sign him :D:):) Smart money would be on that this is the end of our business this summer.
