On the Cole thing so basically if your good enough to be in your national squad you get more of a punishment no matter the offence lol. Its absolutely ludacrus and quite laughable actually. Its not. You are representing the country, not just yourself. You are basically the elite and they are wanting you to act accordingly. Therefore we demand the best from you and come down harder if you **** up. On that basis I agree. Also if you are Calling Rio racist, then you are calling Terry racist. Neither are.

But I wholeheartedly agree on your first sentence, either back him all the way, or drop him completely. Either way, make a proper stance and show some backbone and integrity in what you believe to be right, whatever that decision may be. The FA did not do that at all.

Rio is not racist but what he done was racist. I just think in a country which wants to get rid of racism these charges are so so wrong.
 
Agree 100% Terry isn't racist. But the wreckage caused by that one comment is just tremondous. Not only drawing in a team mate and getting him fined (though he probably shouldn't have been so rash to go on twitter), but right now the ripples are still spreading outward. Look what's happening to Kickitout.org. On the verge of implosion
 
My thoughts on this: The FA should have dropped Terry from the start as they are entitled and usually do. If Rio had then said what he said, he should have been hit with a a game ban. There should have been a stance of "We will not have even a sniff of anything remotely racist, or any kind of abuse". If England had suffered without Terry, tough, there is a lesson to get better talent. That.s now you kick it out. you don't look for a compromise, you stamp your authority as the governing body, and everyone can like it or lump. You're not here to be peoples' friends you're here to run the game.
 
If anyone is interested the Chelsea directer and CE are on talksport right now to discuss Chelsea. No doubt JT subject will come up. Should be interesting

Missing Bale is a big blow for Spurs for today. I'm still plumping for a score draw especially considering Spurs have lost only 2 of their last 22 at White Hart Lane

In my opinion Juan Mata is the premier leagues best player he is just incredible and so consistent.

I have been saying that for some time as well mate. His performances last year were somewhat overshadowed by our poor form but by god he carried Chelsea's attack by himself and did very well. Now playing alongside much better players, we are seeing the best of him. Gem of a player who based on current form, should be starting for Spain

Problem is, Santi Cazorla's doing exactly the same thing for a worse team in Arsenal and Pedro is necessary purely because he offers something different. Spain have such an embarrassment of riches in an attacking sense it is unbelievable. The kind of players who aren't getting into the Spain squad - Arteta, Muniain, Thiago, Isco - would just walk into the starting lineup of any other international team in the world, bar none.

I've been saying for a while now that Mata's superior to Silva, and very nearly the best in the Prem overall. It'd take a rather gargantuan effort from someone to displace master of all trades Yaya Toure from that spot in my books, though.

To be fair Mata was immense last season for a very poor Chelsea team as well. Carried our attack all the way to the FA Cup and Champions League title. He was MOM in both the FA Cup Semi-finals and Finals and was the one who assisted Drogba's goal in the CL finals. Just remember that he had the likes of Kalou/Malouda around him while Cazorla has the likes of Podolski/Gervinho.

And now we are seeing the best of him. He has been better than both Cazorla and Silva so far this season according to me.

In my books, Mata deserves to be starting for Spain especially as Silva is starting. But the fact that he can't even get into their squad is just crazy.

Oh yeah I agree on Yaya. But Mata is the best in the Premiereship for what he does. Arsenal really missed out on a special player.

They wouldn't get in to the England squad, we would much rather have a fookin Milner!
 
wow wow wow!!!! how much did i enjoy yesterday (in the end) words cannot describe. The most impressive thing for me is that although this is a new Chelsea we still showed the fight and belief after going behind. Apart from the 15 odd minutes at the start of the 2nd half we were totally in control and this is becoming a regular thing which for me is alien but so enjoyable to watch. Ramires in the double pivot is very much working, yes he doesn't have the passing range but but he has the drive instead which scares the **** out of defenders. Gazza Cahill's strike just wow, it is something he has in his locker to be fair but even still that is what our replacement for JT can do. Our 3 other goals was just the Mata show it actually got a little funny especially his run in with Walker which Mata i think it's safe to say Mata had the last laugh. The pass by Hazard for the 3rd goal in my opinion shows he is a world class player, only world class players see and execute them. Very happy for Sturridge for getting his goal but the story was about Mata for me and has been since he came back off leave, no doubt for me the best/on form player in the Premier League currently. I said before the game that if we got 4 points from the next two games i would believe we are genuine title contenders and it is looking very good.
 
Mikel really did **** me up when this happened but fair play to him, another sensational performance from him too. Am even seeing the haters from weeks ago praise him now!!!

He is just brilliant at keeping the ball in his possession. Second to none really (in the PL).
