I agree, Alex McLeish would make a sick Chelsea manager. He's secretly Portuguese, I might add.

I think we would back him more than we have done Rafa and that's saying something lol.

So lets get this straight, we need a side who were caught up in one of the biggest match fixing scandals ever and who's current manager is serving a ban for his part in a match fixing scandal to lose but a draw suits both parties. Don't blame me if i have money on a 0-0 draw will you lads.

Never mind, we have not won the Europa League plus the final is in Amsterdam so that means its a better competition this season lol. Looking at the positives it may also give us a chance to play some talented youth i.e Piazon, Bertrand and Feruz to name a few without much to lose.

Your not seriously going to try and put your teams failings (and probable exit) in the Champions League, based on a scandal that finished in 2006? Terrible stain on the club and really shook my faith in Italian football, but Juve were punished accordingly. There will obviously be no match fixing in tonight's game with Shaktar... Chelsea weren't good enough (shown in both ties with Juve) and will deserve to go out if results do not go their way.

Tongue n cheek son, tongue and cheek. I know we haven't been good enough!

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Shaktar either played for the draw and just rested half their team, Juve will want to win but like you said the draw suits both teams so it'll probably be a pretty easy going game.
Going out wouldn't be the worst thing, great time to throw out your kids in the Europa.

I think its fair to say Guardiola bettered Mourinho in their team's battles on the pitch. 5-0 and 6-2 thrashings come to mind.

Aye he won the battles, but who won the war? ;)

I'd say it wasn't the one who, after losing the title to a team that broke records left right and centre, left for America mentally crushed.

Yup and would also **** Roman off which a lot of us would enjoy at them moment. If we do go out tonight at least we are still making history, first holders to go out at the group stage haha #everycloud

Many supporters said they would love Chelsea to win the Europa League. Meh.. I don't know... I think of it as if it is the Johnstone's Paint Trophy now after we've won the Champions League.

Ba is genuinely not that great. He went through some good form, he's now doing just okay. He's relatively old, and wasn't there worry over his knees? Honestly I think you can do better.

Disagree with you about Ba. Think he is a very good striker but your right about Chelsea being able to do better. Chelsea need a Hernandez type player. But the problem is there is nobody else like him in the world atm and I cant see SAF selling talented striker to Chelsea. Time for the Chelsea scouts to earn there money and find someone if Falcao dosent come

First Luiz and now Mikel. Anymore average players need more money? Essien is twice the player of Mikel even at his age. He needs to be replaced. Koke from At. Madrid would fit the bill. Failing him Lars Bender would also be a great signing

Says Chelsea need a Hernandez-type player.

Says Falcao should come.
