Certainly, considering Spurs were asking like 50m for you guys (which is understandable). Plus, Chelsea actually doing good business would certainly be something new.

I don't get this Taison signing one bit personally, at his peak and only good enough for Chelsea bench, why not save the money and go for someone with some actual pedigree rather than just BRAZIL.
 
The only reason this signing makes sense is if Oscar will play a deeper role in my opinion.

Pretty safe to say he wont be getting the record then, new players coming in and he's not going to play another 20-25 games this season. Real shame for him, really don't understand why they're not extending it for at least another year.

Lampard was always gone even before Rafa came in.
 
Normally I'd panic at this sort of "story" but as the clause won't come into affect until summer pretty much a non-story. Unless he's pushing for a move-which I pretty much doubt

Not necessarily. When he was suspended we actually coped better than I thought and Leon Osman has playing a blinder aswell. If the clause was for this window we'd be in deep pooh with Gibbo out injured for another few weeks. Ideal scenario for me though if he does come here in the summer, I'd like Lamps to take his place for us. I'd be nursing a permanent semi

I don't think Lampard will play for another English club. But what do I know? ..


So no chance of that clause being activated in January?
