I don't think Lampard will play for another English club. But what do I know? ..

So no chance of that clause being activated in January?

Definately not no. The club MUST be in the champions league and the clause can only be activated in the Summer. Would be awakward though if both Chelsea and Everton were in the Champions League. It would upset fans if we were already in there as there wouldn't be much of a reason to leave

Signing Fellaini makes no sense for us. Hope it's not true

Solid anchorman, target man, ball winner, does the basics extremely well, perfect age for more development. Ideal CM replacement if you ask me. And with JT lacking in pace he'll ease the pressure on the back four if played as DM. And not to mention there'll be additional income generated from Fellaini wigpieces aswell for the fans

He's not the type of player we need and would be over £20m. Wouldn't be ideal

Would be a waste of his talents in the double pivot. I would prefer Moutinho, Benat or Modric if possible.

I wonder though if there's going to be a change in team philosophy to slot him in though if they were to buy him in the summer. May look to switch things around to accomodate him

Eh he is a good player but I doubt any team would change their whole philosohpy just to accomodate him. We need someone who can distribute the ball to our attacking players.

Aye I think I worded that poorly-obviously doing it for 1 player is madness lol. I still think he'd have a role to play though. Saying that it's still all ifs and buts right now so remains to be seen what actually does happen

I don't think Fellaini would fit in at Chelsea. Think he would be better suited to Man United or moving to Italy.

Hmm...Rooney, RVP, Fellaini...tasty little lineup for sure

Though I did laugh at the most absurd statement I've read in a while on a Man City forum, saying that they'd prefer Gareth Barry over Fellaini-apparently he's a better all round player. Hmmkkk. I do have to say though, apart from his banning following the Stoke match, his conduct has been much better aswell

I think he is a great player. Versatile. Well-rounded. Will be a great fit for any team including Chelsea.

Its just that I prefer a specialist distributor of the ball in the mould of Modric or something. Thats the glaring hole in our midfield anyways.

Well, Modric has been linked with a surprise return to the PL being linked with Man Utd and Chelsea. I'd like to see him back in the prem-think he's a quality player without a doubt. If he went to Chelsea I sure as **** wouldn't like to play against them-he'd pick defences apart

Attacks, defends, scores, elbows people. Roy Keane would be proud.

Oi! :O What you trying to say about him? He has an elbow that tends to....catch people at times..

He has one of those rare stealth elbows, people don't see it so they just run into it.

Well of course Moutinho is my choice as well, but Fellaini is a great player.

Fellaini alongside Mikel is nothing creative, but Fellaini alongside a deep passer is a disaster for the opposition.

I wouldn't say he does not fit, tank+distributor might be a classic, but its not about changing entire tactic around Fellaini as much as how do you support the front 4 best.
