We were very unlucky not to win. The match reminded me of Chelsea vs. Barcelona 1st leg last year. If you miss a host of good chances you know that the 1 chance the opposition get they will take.

We could've had about 5 if our finishing was better, just two mistakes cost us. In the QPR match we created absolutely nothing, there is no comparison.

The problem Chelsea have is literally one of a football manager newbie: you only have one view of attack - straight through to the striker. When the striker isnt playing well it falls apart.

Which I am sorry to say happens too much

The same "shot" knees which made him pass medicals at West Ham, Newcastle and Chelsea. The same "shot" knees which have contributed to him missing a total of 0 days training since his arrival in England?
Yes.

This.
And that in turns put more pressure on said striker who's already trying to live up to something he can't be, so they play it through him more putting more focus on him or they ignore him completely and noone else can do anything(apart from mata).

Anyways those of you watching the game would have seen the crowd reaction to Torres getting subbed off. I wont say more than that.

That i disagree with, as poor as he was he is still a Chelsea player.

Why do you think Stoke didn't sign him? Plus West Ham took him on a pay as you play style contract so it wasn't a huge risk for them.

Does not bother me. If you consistently put in bad performances like that while earing 150k a week then the fans who spent their hard-earned money for a ticket have the right to make their feelings known.

Just sell the poor guy, he's had enough. I/We have had enough.

Who will take him though seriously? Fee, wage and form involved who would take him?

Players don't dictate the wage they are paid, they are paid the amount the club can afford. I just don't agree with booing own players.

Your right...But its not like the fans are being unreasonable. We supported him enough for the past two seasons. Yet he stills plays like **** 3 weeks out of 4. Then when Demb Ba comes in and plays like that...What do you expect?

Say all you want about Torres being the scapegoat here but its clear as day, we can at least mask our problems if we had a clinical striker similar to what RVP is doing for Manchester United.

Think Rafa should give Ba a run of games now. In the meantime, Torres will have to recover from whatever thats affecting him so he has no excuses for the next big goal drought.

I expect us to think about the bad old days and what we used to have and just laugh it off and hope the club do the right thing try and get rid and put their focus in Ba. The chanting for Ba during the game is acceptable in my eyes but booing Torres isn't

And it's proved its not a problem surely?

So far it hasn't true enough, but it's clearly an issue that could arise. Atleast two clubs refused to sign him because of it and Newcastle got him on a free. Only team that's honestly payed all that much for him is Chelsea, I don't think his knee will suddenly explode but he's said himself it's not 100% and never will be and that possibility is always there.

Impossible? Oh, please. Bench him permanently and we will see what happens then.

Even if the lad wants to leave, no top club will take a punt on him unless he is willing to swallow his pride and move down a level.

Or maybe he should just head to Middle East/Asia/USA so that he can at least profit from whatever little brand value he still has before that is completely destroyed as well.
