The top 5 are all taken by his striker transfers.

Haha that could be true. I just imagine Chelsea would be so better of now if Mourinho stayed at Chelsea through all these years. They more than likely would've had a european cup sooner than last season.

If the likes of Ake, Chalobah and feruz are ****** off in 2-3 years time without even getting a proper chance I will be fuming.

You might as well shut the academy down mate and i'm being serious.

Probably Romans worst move as chairman.

No one could argue with that mate, but he wanted his mate Sheva with him though didn't he.

Jesus christ i have had enough with this trying to stick up for Mikel to other chelsea fans! he is getting the blame for us not creating enough chances now! apparently we need someone more like yaya toure! best get that cloning machine then lads!

There's no player of Mikel's ilk in the Premier league that gets the appreciation they deserve. From the top end of the table with Carrick, Mikel and Sandro, to the middle with Britton and Yacob, to the bottom with Cork, McArthur and Westwood. All are similar players (within a certain amount of variation) and all don't get the recognition they deserve. It's just how English fans see the game. If a player isn't constantly running, he's worthless.

You hit the nail on the head there because someone just said "stick two players with a good engine in the 2 in midfield". Now they are on to his fellow countryman Moses and stating he is poor and Ramires is a better winger than him, why do these people have to support the same club as i do!

You'll find the same cross-section of fans with every club, despite how every club tries to claim their fans are special or the best in the land or somesuch nonsense.

I admit I do have a few Chelsea fan friends I have to grit my teeth with when discussing Moses with them. The way they talk about him, you'd think he was a 29 year old seasoned vet, not a developing 22 year old. Frankly, I think it's moot, as Ramires is needed in the centre of midfield, not on the wing; but then again, they think a Lampard-Luiz midfield with Mata and Ramires on the wings and Torres and Ba up front is a great idea. Oh, and Ivanovic should start over Azpilicueta because he is 'solid'. Luckily I do have some sensible people to talk to as well, otherwise I'd be batshit bonkers by now.

EDIT: My bad, I just texted one of them to confirm he thought that team was good. He'd take Hazard over Ramires now because the former "isn't such a flashy one-trick pony any more". Sigh.

I see a lot of hate on Moses from Chelsea fans and I don't see why. He quickly became one of my favourite players this season and he will only get better.

Lukaku found the back of the net once again today, surely a contender for PFA young player of the year!

I think Lukaku won't have his proper chance at the club. Roman likes big names and big fees. Plus, if Jose comes back, do you think he will use Lukaku as his main striker? Not really. He will want to buy some big name as well, or bigger than Lukaku anyways.

Is £17m not a "big fee" anymore? :/

He didn't exactly come cheap and this successful loan spell has certainly helped make his name bigger. Chelsea will be very stupid not to give him a chance it's clear to see he has the potential to become one of te worlds best strikers.

Kevin De Bruyne needs to join the first team next season. It's infuriating watching him for Bremen as he's often the best player on the pitch, but some of his teammates are really average and make stupid decisions.

Only watched him once this season cannot remember who it was against but I think Bremen won 4-2 and he played very well scored a good goal too.

if lukaku is not playing for chelsea next season then this club some how is more of a joke!!!

I honestly can see him being loaned out again especially if we bring in a new striker plus we will still have Ba and possibly Torres at the club. If he is loaned out again I would like to see him go back to the Hawthorns for another year.

Yep. He's only 19, he needs first team football more then anything. Loaning him out was a pretty good idea to begin with, do you think he would develop as much if he stayed in Chelsea this year? No, he would spend most games not even being on a bench.

Sublime pass from Carrick there. Cech in no mans lad, and typical Cahill not tracking the runner yet again.
