Well looks like Cavani is also not available, close to complete signing with PSG which is fantastic.

Source? All I heard is that they are rumors that PSG activated his release clause. Whether they did and whether he wants to go there is an entirely different matter

Also Van Ginkel officialy signs a five-year contract. Extremely happy. Him, Oscar and Mikel in a midfield three is a pretty enticing prospect. Well capable of playing in a double pivot as well. Very complete midfielder for his age and only 20 years old
 
Happy birthday to one of Chelsea's all-time greats and certainly one of my favourite players worn the blue shirt, Franco Zola!
 
Now Cavani seems to be on his way to PSG and Rooney is staying (as i suspected) i hope we go all out for Leandro Damiao. Had a great partnership with Oscar before Oscar joined us.

Hmm but is Damiao really that much better than a Ba or Lukaku? Because if we buy another striker then we would have to offload one of the three we have and as unfortunately that person cannot be Torres so ....

I guess not buying a striker could be a blessing in disguise. Lukaku will get his opportunities

I would be content with Lukaku, Ba and Torres next season but it all depends on how quickly/easily Lukaku adapts to playing for Chelsea doesn't it. If it takes him 6 months then we are out of the title race by the time he adapts because we cannot rely on Ba and especially Torres.
 
Let's be honest, Lukaku did well at WBA but he needs to improve considerably in terms of technical skill if he's to survive in our system. I would still have preferred him to be loaned out to a team who plays to his weaknesses, like a Swansea.

IMO it would be a massive risk going into the season with Romelu as the no.1, especially for a team aiming to challenge on all fronts.

Benteke hands in transfer request shortly after rumours Chelsea want him. I personally wouldn't want him at the club no need when we have similar in lukaku.
 
So apparently we've just signed mark schwartzer (spelt wrong most likely) on a one year deal even a pic of him at Chelsea going round.
 
Now there is also a picture of isshiah brown signing a contract at Chelsea also doing the rounds
 
Mark confirmed on the Chelsea website. This signing makes sense tbh good backup to have for one season before Courtois seemingly returns to compete with Cech.
 
Brilliant deal if you ask me. Probably one of the best backups we've had if not the best lol.
