Exactly. This is one of the reasons why the Prem now has so many teams that have a chance of winning the title. If it was not for the Abramovich's and the rich arabs then it would just be a boring league with United probably winning it year after year.

When you say that you would rather pay 50 Million for Torres than Luiz then it shows how everything has changed. Not that it is surprising but still.

Balotelli ahead of Lukaku is laughable when you consider Balotelli has **** poor work rate and makes Ronaldo look like a workhorse.
Now 50 Million for Torres is better spent than Luiz because Torres won't lose you the game. That's some logic.

Its a dumb discussion from the start as I pointed out. I am sure we both can agree that both deals are bad so trying to argue which of these bad deals was better is just stupid ... I made the initial comment about Luiz being the deal of the century partly in jest

How is it bad logic? I would rather have a player be anonymous on the pitch rather than lose us games. You just throw out accusations without explain yourself. Anyways I really don't want to have this stupid discussion in any case

Meh I really don't care about the Balotelli thing. Wouldn't mind Manzkudic either ... Will have to see whether Lukaku is sold though

How can any striker lose you game? At max he can't win you one but how is it even possible for him to lose the game? By that logic 50 Million on Torres is well spent compared to any defender.

Actually he can because many times we were playing with Torres, we were as good as playing with 10 men. He was that bad. Giving the ball away cheaply in dangerous positions. Breaking down our own attacks better than any defender. Missing clear chances

That's not winning you the game. Unless he makes defensive blunders he can't lose you the game.

I agree with you although Luiz Still isn't worth a £50m player in any regard ... Anyways as I pointed out right from the start, I wasn't being 100% serious when I said Luiz was the deal of the century so let's leave it at that

First-choice is just a context of someone wanting to be on the team-sheet... I'm sure that's all he means. He wants regular games, for that I can only applaud him... most people would settle for money and bench.

hello mcfly he want to be the number 1 st but he is just not that good yet if he works his *** off then he will get a chance and need to stop being a ***** and crying to the press its not that hard to get
