Was wondering when the 'Mourinho is a batshit liar' post will turn up ... Not exactly sure what the **** you mean by the Uncle Roman part. You will need to clarify that. Also i don't get why you are so concerned with what other people care about. If you don't care about the wages Luke Shaw is paid, that's completely fine but then why keep wading into the topic again and again?

Because i'm an argumentative sod. And I meant United are richer as an organisation with no sugar daddy bankrolling, which should be obvious anyway.

Why do you care so much about our player and wading into it? :)

Anyways I am really not in the mood to get into an argument. Just saying that some people refused to believe me when I said that wages was the main sticking point between Chelsea and Shaw and now that's obviously been proven. Obviously some people will happily come on here and say that Mourinho is just a liar even though in this instance, he has no incentive to do so and the logic actually supports him heavily

And I don't really wanna argue, but if you just wanted to prove people wrong about whatever you said, fair enough. But you said an awful lot of unsubstantiated bullshit over United a while back and backtracked over it since, which I'm guessing is why people are jumping down your throat over this or whatever else. :)

I just find it funny that Chelsea fans are the ones criticising another team for overpaying for a player...

Also the reported wage is from when he was going to cost us 34m. Could be true. But little support it's veracity, especially when several papers had also agreed the provisional deal was £75k rising to £100k

also Alcaraz how does the logic support Jose heavily? I find it interesting that you instantly believe the £130k wage, but not £75k going to £100k despite the evidence for both being the same. Aka flimsy

Never ever criticized ... I was just stating that United paid far more wages to Shaw which allowed them to get him which is what most people weren't willing to believe s

Not sure where in the quotes does Jose mention that Shaw was paid £130k p/w ... All he said was that United were willing to pay far greater wages to Shaw than Chelsea which is true

Been saying it for ages and got mocked and criticized. Finally what we knew all along ... United simply blew everyone out of the market with a huge and exorbirant wage packet for Shaw. Words from the horse's mouth

I guess its good that you've only spent 6 months posting 24/7 how Shaw will join Chelsea because he is such a fan.

so are you saying if we were to pay him the same as what you where going to pay him he would be playing for you lot

I really find it hard to believe it's more than an initial 75k, unless Shaw has a ridiculously good agent and brass balls.

More reliable sources point towards it being 75k, iirc.

Ah it's one of those face-saving thingummies you supporters of top clubs do when a player moves to your rivals instead of you. Gotcha.

Not really, I was saying this for a long time and some people refused to believe me. But whatever helps you sleep at night man. My point still stands

But your point doesn't stand if he is getting paid £75k rising to £100k. In fact it makes your point fall apart completely. Unless you are really trying to argue that £75 blows chelsea out the water.

Then according to you, why did Chelsea pull out of the deal despite Shaw being highly rated by nearly everyone at the club including Mourinho?

You ever thought that he might have preferred United to Chelsea regardless? Youre so quick to assume that he didnt go to Chelsea because of money rather than preferring United, despite there being little evidence towards either wage claim.

He's a self proclaimed fan of Chelsea. Chelsea would have bought him. Chelsea are in the CL. Chelsea are competing for every trophy.

But heand preferred United?:banghead:

Aaron Ramsey is a United fan. Went to Arsenal. Your point?

Again that's not actually evidence is it? That's you assuming he couldn't possibly go there unless its for the money.

Ramsey rejected ManUtd who won PL and CL and were the best team in PL by a mile.
Smalling rejected Arsenal.

Just because he is Chelsea fan doesn't mean he loves to sign for them, who knows maybe he didn't want to end up on loan in Dutch and German league.

The wage could be correct, it could be incorrect. GC points out that most reputable sources went with the £75k though. But its the speed at which it's accepted that it must be because of the money only, by Alcaraz that bemuses me.

Really. Jose has no incentive to spin about a player Chelsea were supposedly favourites to sign?

Jose has been stirring the pot recently, made claims about Fabregas too.

Any idea what they might be? I am still waiting for a reason ... Also their has been plenty of evidence to the wage claims

No because he just signed a better player in Filipe Luis
