LOL I didn't even know we were unbeaten at home this season. I really don't care either way mate. Good chance for us to see youngsters like Ake and RLC

Nah just beat liverpool, nevermind the youngsters.

Congrats, Chelsea were run-away winners this time around. Mainly the hallmark of champions, you were churning out results, even if you were playing badly.

Dat Rafa jab. Somebody's still butthurt.

He has every right to be. If he has the quality, age should not be an excuse to drop him. Following Rafa's logic, Giggs should have retired 10 years ago.

I am really excited about Courtois. First season in the EPL and he was already pretty good . Next season he should be so much better and put in his Atletico-type performances more often

Ya, but didn't he have major injuries that season? That would keep him from regaining his usual match fitness, and there was no time to smooth him into the team since you had a lot more games due to CWC+EL. Benitez is not the kind of guy who would judge people's fitness purely on age, it was probably due to some fitness recovery tests and such.

Anyway it seems that it was the reporter who nagged Terry about it, so not really butthurt, just answering the question. :D

In all the articles I read about this subject, it came out as Terry was the one who brought this up, just so he can stick it to Rafa. Journalism at it's best.

The best thing JT has ever done for his career in regards to fitness etc was retiring for England, I'm confident that's prolonged his career for another 2-3 years.

Congrats Chelsea, congrats to the best manager in the world proving yet again that he is the best. And let the dogs keep barking at the caravan.8-|

Congrats also to JT who Ive forever found to be extremely odious but his class cant be denied. Third best player of the year after Hazard and DDG.

Also glad its you winning the league and not: Lfc/******/The ****.

Next season we ll give you a real fight, get ready!

Chelsea want to sign Griezmann? I hope so and Pogba too...

Reports going around that Mourinho is set to be given a pay rise and a two-year contract extension with us, meaning his contract will run until 2019.

Reports that we are in for GK, CB, LB/RB, attacking mid and striker. Two of those to probably replace the outgoing Cech and Drogba. The rest is to hopefully add that extra quality for us to be on par with Bayern. Loftus-Cheek to step up and add some depth to the squad

We can afford to spend big this summer due to new sponsorship and TV deal as well as our FFP discipline for the past two summers. The plethora of inevitable player sales will also help (Cech, Drogba, Salah, Moses at least)

Clyne and Schneiderlin would be excellent places to start and sort out homegrown quota

He was struggling badly at the time in truth, fair few were wondering if he was done. JM simply moved the back line deeper because it fits how Mourinho plays. Terry is smart enough to know it, just wanted a dig at Rafa

Fair point, but Rafa or AVB could have done the same. It's not rocket science. I know that they are adepts of the high line, but the whole point of football is that you work with the hand you've been dealt with, until you can get new players. Luiz was a liability, Cahill was ok-ish, Terry was our best defender, who cannot play in a way they wanted.
It's like in FM: you cannot take the same tactic and expect it work exactly the same way for every team.

Same goes with Lampard. He did not decline drastically, he was just moved into a position that did not suite him at all.

Tbf, reporter is the one who brought up the issue
