I don't think Pep is the best but he is class non the less.

Let's be honest about it, he is massively overrated. That doesn't mean that he isn't a brilliant manager, but from circlejerk that surrounds him you would believe that is the best of all time, and no one else on the planet is even close to his level at the moment.

That's Jose though, we all know he is the best of all time. Even if he farts, it's tactical on this forum and for Chelsea fans.

That's what I said. I don't think hes the best, but no denying hes a top manager. I don't believe in hype, circle jerk etc. Just what I see in games.

How are we judging the best of all time? Longevity,League wins,CL wins,Cup wins? Some managers have a better record in each individual one of these.

In the same way that every breath LvG took post-WC/preseason was a masterstroke and so very, very strong and unlike what Moyes would have done in that situation. Successful managers will always have a following of fanatics, but I think the only one on here that actually comes close to that is Alc and even then, he's not blind to Jose's failings. That's why people like coming to these forums in general: most of the people here are actually willing to be critical of their clubs and not just mindlessly lap up all the spin.

I said all along that he was a Nani type player, and could not see what everyone was raving about. Having watched Fiorentina for nearly 2-3 yrs. He has always been a frustrating and inconsistent player. Most people were just going off his performances at the world cup imo. People say its his 1st time in the league which is fair enough. But they should not be supprised to see he contribute little in a lot of games.

Don't insult nani mate...

Atleast nani can put in crosses and take on players...

I don't think i've even seen cuadrado put in a single cross...Not a **** one...

And he's too scared to take on his man so he takes the easy way out...

I can pull off everything he's pulled off a chelsea if i'm being honest

I don't know about Van Gaal praise, all I remember is him getting plaudits for swapping GKs for penalty shootout.

I agree every managers have fan boys who thinks everything done is intentional and planned, what I don't get is whenever Pep loses the game or KOed from CL, his methods are questioned and all the articles about death of Tiki taka but same is not true for Jose. Jose is worshiped by English media and same journos always questions Pep when truth is Pep record is absolutely superb.

Im not and your wrong. Nani can beat a player with skill and technique. Cuadrado can beat a man with his sheer pace. And I have watched Cuadrado a lot for 2 seasons and he can cross. They are both good on there day but they are far an few between.

I think you are massively overblowing the issue. If you actually look at my original post, all I did was make a comparison as to how opposing fans call Chelsea boring yet praise Bayern to the moon and back even though Pep lost more games in the last few weeks than we have all season

Chelsea have definitely played more boring football than Bayern, but have also lost less.

Pep and Jose are both brilliant in the same way Ronaldo and Messi are. Having a debate between the two is as pointless as the comparisons.

You chelsea fans have let this boring **** get to ya

At the end of the day, i would show arsenal fan the league table and ask them...isn't your team boring now?

That's not true at all. Barca finished 3rd in 2007-08 and IIRC 18 points behind Madrid. He took over side that was completely out of ideas and on decline.

First thing he did was inject young blood into the team and get rid of old egos like Ronaldinho, Deco, even tried to sell Eto'o but did later. Also Zambrotta, Thuram left. That was a massive change in the playing 11.

He signed one of the best RB of the last decade Dani Alves who was one of the key player for Barca, Keita, Pique and promoted Biscuits. All played key roles. And Xavi, Iniesta reached new heights with Pep as manager, Messi was moved from wide right to central.

Saying one of the best team was handed out to Pep is simply not true, it's like saying Ranieri handed best team to Jose, Mancini handed treble winners to Jose and Rafa, AVB and Roberto gave the team that won PL this time.

Sunil has just revealed Peps secret ;)

Post-WC? I remember either Shearer or Lineker praised LVG as "tactical genius" for swapping RVP with Huntelaar late in one of the knockout games, with Huntelaar creating 2 goals. Because obviously, swapping tired striker with a fresh one is a shocking idea worthy of a true mastermind.
