If you want to start a discussion and then only say your piece without hearing anyone else out then don't start it in the first place
Oh be quiet Alcaraz, we had the discussion and you missed it, if you actually read up. So no I don't have to rehash with you. Good bye.

the thing is, putting aside Jose and Rafa, its actually pretty ******* sexist.

haha ****** **** your getting embarrassing mate! When it comes to woman in football i actually speak to far more woman and their views about Chelsea than i do men because they don't let things cloud their judgement! What he said was not sexist in the slightest!

If you're trying to defend sexism here Carl, don't bother replying to me.

Is it not reasonable to assume that Benitez is probably not the one who prepares the meals in that household? At no point does he even come close to making it a gender issue, that's very much your own inference.

Carl if this wasn't Jose you wouldn't even attempt it. If that makes me embarrassing then I will totally wear that. We're done here.

Pretty sure I said I'm done with this.

Lol yeah I read up. All I saw was you stirring **** and when someone countered you, you acted like a know-it-all and didn't bother to respond to their points specifically. Yet again not upholding the same standards you hold others to. Dont start discussions if you can't finish them without being completely patronizing. Goodbye

And that's why I tend to never engage with you about Jose. It's embarrassing

Glad you at least admitted that you refused to engage in a discussion. Your pathetic attemps at convincing otherwise was embarassing. Also stop making this about me as you usually do, you didn't respond to Subtle's or Carls post properly either

Anyways I think we can draw a line under this. Comments ftom Jose were out of order but if you are going to assert extreme inferences from them then do at least respond to rebuttals when posed or don't make them in the first place. It's really simple

No I rfefuse to engage with you specifically. Because all honesty I dont particularly like you in the way you conversate over the last 3 years, and I think It's better we don't go down than path. I didnt engage further with Subtle (who I get on with really rather well on and off the forum) because we fundamentally disagreed, and neither of us wanted the fallout, hence how everyone very quickly changed the subject (whether we agreed or not), until you returned.

Anyway... Salah's off to Roma. Apparentely he'll be joining them on an initial one-year loan (Fee of around £1m/£2m), with an obligation to buy for around £14m/£16m next summer. Decent business from us again and I'm glad he's gone to be honest, he's never looked good enough to play for Chelsea.

No you refused to engage with Carl specifically as well resorting back to the old 'I am right and I won't discuss this with you unless you at all'. Also since you are resorting to ad hominem attacks, if you don't like the way I post then ban me. If you continue to implicitly condone my membership of this forum by letting me post then it's only common courtesy to engage in a discussion which you after all started on a thread you know I patronize frequently and post often in. Otherwise make it clear that you shouldn't have started the discussion and stirred the pot with a issue you quite clearly hold dear to your heart

Instead what you seem to have done is arrogant and patronizing in the extreme. Start a discussion. Refuse to respond to any points by simply saying that you won't discuss it with anyone who doesn't share your view. Then when pushed, you start ad hominem attacks. As I mentioned, if you hold others to high standards such as you when you had a go at Scouse for being patronizing on the United thread, then make sure you yourself adhere to them at the very least. Otherwise stop uplifting yourself and being all 'oh I only respond to posts made by these people because we are exclusive shizzz'

Glorified friendly. Think we might scrape it 2-1 but only because Sanchez isn't playing ;)

Both teams will want to win though! Could be a fairly decent indicator of how teams will be for the Prem :)

Is Sanchez injured?

It more often than not is it's true. But it's still a very important fixture that get's downplayed way too easily by many fans. (Mostly those who's clubs are never in it.). If you're in the Charity Shield, or whatever guise it's now going under, you've won 1 of the 2 major domestic trophy's. Same with the European Super Cup. Always used to be the aim at the start of the season to be in the next season's for that very reason.

Not a bad aim to still adhere to.

As for Sunday, I can't see Jose wanting to lose ANY face to Wenger so I'm anticipating a very competitive game.

And as much as I hate to say it (smiles), I hope you win it to keep Arsenal that little bit more behind ourselves in Shield victory's.

Terrible move, it made no sense to do it at the time either.
