Cesc in a Chelsea shirt, Cech in an Arsenal one. It's going to be like watching an episode of wife swap.

Cech in an Arsenal shirt!... Who'd of thunk it? It'll be interesting to see how he does this season with Bellerin, Koscielny, Mertesacker and Monreal in front of him. No doubt he's a brilliant GK (Only behind Neuer and Courtois IMO), but their defence is s**t compared to ours.

Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Ramires, Willian, Hazard; Remy

Begovic, Zouma, Mikel, Oscar, Cuadrado, Moses, Falcao

Why, Jose? If Sanchez was playing and we needed his energy to cover then fine but he's not. Would much rather see Moses starting if it's 4-2-3-1 or RLC or if it's 4-3-3.

Don't think Mou rates Moses tbh. Will be nothing more than a cup player this season. You should be more worried about Costa tbh.

Then why would he play him extensively in preseason and bring him back into the squad instead of selling him? Jose's not exactly known for taking a generous approach to players he doesn't want. I would be amazed if he doesn't get game time this year if Cuadrado isn't able to improve.

Ramires always seems to play vs Arsenal and plays well too.

No idea. Playing in pre season means nothing just like the results tbh.

15 goals in 147 Premier League matches.16 goals in 75 cup / shield / CL matches.Ramires seems to step up when trophies are within grasp.

This has been a stark reminder that we are an Oscar/Fabregas injury away from relative disaster. The same problems come up over and over again when we play these 3 in the middle: Fabregas gets tightly marked and we're left with ******* Ramires distributing the ball. His touch is too heavy and his passing too sloppy, and it's slowing our attacks down. Look at the difference between us and Arsenal. They have Cazorla and Ramsey moving the ball round the midfield quickly, stretching us and pulling us out of shape whereas we're just plodding and predictable.

I am not a pessimist as anyone who has seen me post here would know, but this is the 1st time in a few years that I am going into a season with zero confidence unless some magic happens in the transfer window before it shuts. Our team is just to thin and too reliant on a few players to succeed

I honestly don't know why you seem to have stood still in this transfer window so far, it's rather baffling, doesn't matter how good a team is in the modern game you need to improve or else you are just allowing other title rivals to close the gap of quality and/or depth.

It's not a deliberate case. They havent hit their key target in Griezmann

Oh what a surprise, Fabregas has been considerably better since we've brought on Oscar. If only this exact thing happened multiple things last year and we could have known...
