Ivanovic is being left terribly exposed. And he's not winning that foot race. Willem needs to work back and help out.

Got Ivanovic on toast atm. Been good half to watch from both teams tbh. Could be level if Swansea not fluffed there chances. Still think you need a couple of new signings as do most of the title challengers. Problem for Chelsea the rest have strengthened and look to continue doing so.
 
Take it back on the penalty. Thought they had a decent shout the first replay in play but not after seeing it back HT.

Problem with Ivanovic has always been his eagerness to get into attack. All well and good when it works out but teams are starting to exploit the space behind him and we rely on Matic to get across or Willain to track back to bail him out. We have even conceded goals because of this like against Huntelaar for Schalke last season

My views on the transfer market are pretty clear. Let's see what happens. I guess one positive is that the team and squad looks well gelled. Some superb attacking movement in the 1st half
 
On the positive side of things, good to see Oscar get a goal. Expecting a big season from him after having a full summers rest. This is the season he really needs to step up and maximize his potential like Hazard did last season
 
That was a double mistake by Courtois there. Firstly his actuall coming out was weak. If he isnt clumsy there then Gomis would have rounded him anyway. Then the is the obvious being clumsy and bringing him down. Very poor.
 
Fabregas has been **** in the final third. Where is the final pass???
 
Now costa is acting like a ********. He is a red card waiting to happen in moments like these. Although tbf his fire and passion is exactly what the team needs at times like this. A real leader on the pitch
 
A part of me believes that Costa relishes match situations like these. The ultimate underdog. He looks completely different once courtois has been sent off
