My God the space Swansea has now. If they do not win this, they have no excuses.

Shelvey: talented player, thick individual. Stop making really bad tackles and then complaining about it when you are on a yellow and a man up. Moron.

That's all Swansea have to do is be patient and move the ball quickly. Chances will come. Poor by Gomis was looking across the line.

Exactly, Chelsea are still hugely dangerous. Idiocy like that will cost them if not careful.

Shelvey has it all. Two great feet. Great passer of a ball. Brilliant web on him from distance, Real intelligent football brain.Strong in the tackle. Just lacks a little pace. But what let's him down and has consistently held him back is both his discipline and his concentration. His mind wonders during games. He;ll do something brilliant one minute. Then play a blind pass without looking the next and put his tea in trouble.

He should be at a big club still. But I sadly doubt he ever will be.

Costa is ready to snap now. 4 minutes might be too long.

Well done Swansea in taking it to the Champions.

Now to hear Jose tell it completely different to what it was ....

Well well interesting first day. Lots of positives and negatives for sure. Great to see the desire of the players to win the game despite being one man down. Champions mentality

Good to see a more open, expressive game from Chelsea after the sterile boredom of the second half of last season at least.

In games where Hazard is quiet, all eyes turn to Fabregas and the opponent can just put a man or two on him, give him no time on the ball and laugh all the way home. How many other top teams have a single player that can reliably pick apart a tight defence? The likes of Barca, Real and Bayern are obviously a tier above us, but I'm not sure we'll even make the tier below that with Juve, PSG etc if we don't get that midfield situation sorted and sign a wingback.

Cesc fabregas seriously needs to up his game imo im starting to get more and more annoyed with him. Been average at best since Christmas last year.

So Jose had a go at Eva Carniero for doing here job, which is mental:

"“I wasn't happy with my medical staff because even if you are a medical doctor or secretary on the bench, you have to understand the game,” said Chelsea manager Mourinho.“If you go to the pitch to assist a player, then you must be sure that a player has a serious problem. I was sure that Eden didn't have a serious problem. He had a knock and was very tired.
“My medical department left me with eight fit outfield players in a counter attack after a set piece and we were worried we didn't have enough players left.”

One of you is a trained medical professional, one of you isn't. Ridiculous

I was right near the dug out today and he was going very over the top screaming at her when it didn't seem like she did anything wrong.

Also at the end of the day, she's a doctor (not just a physio) and the club's medical director. He knows nothing medically compared to her, and her job is the medical welfare, not the result. Needs to know the game? No she needs to treat the players.

He just can't take not winning. He just can't.

Anyone and everyone (BAR himself) is fair game when that doesn't happen.
