Cheers Lads - will give that a go.
Any suggested team instructions? Can't download tactics at the moment so a screenshot would be much appreciated!
This is the original tactic

And this is the team information.

I set Torres as a target man, Gerrard as Advanced playmaker with long shots often, Kuyt as inside forward, Meireles with long shots often.
Set Poulsen, Konchesky and Johnson to stay back for both free kicks and corners.
Kirgyakos and Skrtel(Carragher) to go forward at free kicks, and for corners one of them set to attack far post and one to stand on far post.
I set Meireles to take freekicks and corners, corners both left and right far post, and free kicks both left and right to best header, he also scored one or two goals directly but he’s not the best fk taker in the world.
You might also want to reshape the club infrastructure, i changed a lot of my staff to suit my needs, with a lot of insisting on youth development. Aside from very capable youth coaches i also convinced my board to invest in the youth facilities as well as the youth system for academy players joining your youth team every year. This is a long term plan for me as you might see.
This is my new club infrastructure with the new and old staff restructured to my needs:

This set piece tactics has given me 8 goals in 18 matches, kirgyakos - 4, skrtel - 2, carragher -2. Agger hasn't scored yet but he probably will too. I'm currently top in IFK chart in the league, and that's pretty good considering that i have no player really specialized in fk taking (no one above 14-15 in fk taking or corner attributes).
Another very important aspect of the game is intelligent transferring when you don't have the kitty of shaktar or man city at your disposal. If you want to truly get some good players don't pay the amount in whole, instead do it partially and the rest in monthly installments stretched over 24-48 months. This way you will be able to far surpass the transfer budget allotted by the board. My transfers for this season were Suarez from Ajax (great investment, 12 goals in 16 matches out of which only 9 started as a first 11 player). I paid for him 24 million euros, 8 up front and the rest in 48 monthly installments. My second important transfer was Yann M'Vila (20 yr old defensive midfielder i took in to take over from poulsen in the following seasons, i'm not a fan of lucas leiva). I paid 12 million for this player, 5 up front and the rest in 24 month installments. The rest of the money i spent on two 15 and 16 year olds rated by my scouts as quality signings to build on the future. I still have 6 million euros left out of my 26 mil kitty from the start of the season (adjusted from salary budget) and i should have spent over 43 mil on my signings.

A modification that I made to the tactic was switch to a 4 2 2 2 with two wingers not like the 4-2-2-2 ingame. Basically the attacking midfielder was promoted to forward. I resorted to this because gerrard got injured for 2 months.
From your team you can also select match practice, make sure you change the focus of match practice every two games and include everything, defense positioning, team blend etc. don’t despair if you miss 2-3 games in a row, give the tactic a chance and stick to it, it will pay off in the end.
Let me know if you need clarifying with anything else or if you have anymore questions. And let me know how it works out for you.
