I only have £38m cash and dont really want to spend it all on Bale, especially when im trying to sell Suarez for 40m which i know i wont get. Thinking of replacing Suarez with Rodrigo from SLB

In serious need of a AML and Gareth bale is clearly a World Class player, Suarez played poor first season and only managed to get 9 goals in 39 appearances.

Don't think Bale is that good on FM (Unless you are using Marshall's update). See if you can get Cavani/Neymar/Falcao instead :)

Very good Player for a good price he has great offensive and defensive stats he will do a good job for you so he would be great

Good player, but that's is too much. Instead go for Drage/Mane/Ilsinho/Corchia/Bernard

How effective is Bale as AMC or AMR?
I have James Rodriguez for AML / AMC but can make either a backup / rotation due to fixture congestion in winter and spring.


Player : Juan Mata at 27 years of age
Fee : 16.5
Other info :
Usual strategy is 3 AMCs (Rodriguez, Kagawa, Rooney) so I need at least one or preferably two AMCs as cover.

Budget is 130 mil.

NO DEAL. Never pay 80m for a goal keeper, nevermind 150m. Look for a regen keeper, there should be some good ones by now. If not then look at Bardi, Leali, Butland, Smithies. People like that.
 
@meguel - forgot to say, i need sweeper keeper, not just a regular keeper.. i play high defensive line... still no deal?

Out of the 2, Szcz is a better deal, but as meguel said - Never pay more than about £35m for a 'keeper!

Go for Leno if you can't find a good regen - although you don't need a sweeper keeper when playing a high defensive line.

Normal keepers will still rush out, it's just that sweeper keepers are more likely to bring the ball out of the final third themselves and try to thread a through ball up the pitch... which alot of the time ends up with you losing possesion! :O
 
Thanks to all, i didnt do it because of all your suggestions.. Maybe its too much...I stick with my current GK, patricio.. I set up my Sweeper keeper to just do simple passing, i never had him on through balls. I still want GKs with high Rushing out, and as possible, influence and determintion for captaincy.

But wait........I just splashed money 2 hours before Deadline..150m euro for Alaba who is valued 23m!!!..LOL..He's been my target for almost 3 seasons, PSG dont want to sell always want 250m+, but now, though 28yrs old, still the best Fullback/Wingback..

After the transfer, his value soared to 90m and i still got 230m euro.. So yeah, Highest transfer in my game.. And getting him from PSG is a plus, as PSG beat me 2 years ago in UCL final and last year in quarter, so i'd just killed two birds with ONE HUNDRED FIFTY MILLIONS EURO.. LOL...

Definitely deal for Mata, quality til he's about 33. As for Bale, he is very good at AMR, especially when set to IF and if money is no issue then I say deal for him also :)
