Just started a southampton save signed leigh griffiths for 750k signed seamus coleman and greg cunningham on loan and also jordan spence on loan from west ham
 
I usually get Griffiths on monthly installements ad he rips apart the league for me
 
Mate do u hav any staff recommendations for when Southhapmton get promoted cos I am struggling to find any right now :)

I brought some older players around like 30 in League One which I made into coaches. It's quite hard to get coaches in the Championship.
 
Have your existing staff recommended anyone on your backroom advice meetings

Just got promoted to the championship signed phil jones from blackburn 4.5 million 2.5 upfront 2 million over 48 months charlie adam from blackpool on free dalibor stevanovic from vitesse on free greg halford joe mattock and luis guilherme all on loan
 
In my save I got promoted on my first season and I used almost all of my budged to sign young - good for premier division players ( 4'5 , 5 stars on potential ) for next season ( as I didn't have coaches and didn't want to mess their growing ) and only made a few free signings , I'll recommend Striker Matt Moussilouon a free transfer he's got 17 acceleration and 14 pace and got close to 40 goals by himself and after promoting I was a able to sell him for 2 million , in fact , if you use wingers of any kind , trequartistas or strikers in those lower leagues , take always a look first at acceleration and pace , those attributes for cheap will , in my opinion , always give you the edge , that 17 and 14 made by himself a lot of goals along with my wingers , finished with 105 goals and most of my matches consisted on getting more goals than my opponent .

In another note , don't get rid of Llallana and Jose Fonte , I was able to sell them for 3'5 million ( 2 m and 1'5 m ) , get yourself acostummed to debt , you won't make any money till you reach the premiership , but once you do with a clean bill ( my most paid championship player is Ribeiro from benfica on a 500 K 40 % on promotion contract ) you'll get a crapload of money if you are able to avoid relegation .

On a sidenote ---> all the teams that entered administration on my save got danish takeovers , those guys are crazy D: , except portsmouth , they keep sinking ...
 
I always use wingers infact im still using mr hough's 10.3 tactic from fm10 it works like a treat use it at every team ive been on fm11 so far not lost a game in championship so far
 
Won back to back promotions followed by 6th in the prem and winning the FA cup. Just finished the following season in 5th place.
Leigh Griffiths, Jordan Spence and Jose Goncales have been the most important signings. Puncheon, Lalana and Schneiderlin stay quality in the prem. Signed Boyata, Lukaku and Douglas Costa in the premiership.

Soho is a great team to play...solid infrastructure and secure finances are a great foundation. I ended up unloading #1 and 2 GK and signed Adriano Basso and Smities from Huddersfield. I alternate them but Basso gets the big games...never had a mistake. CB - picked up Demeritt on free transfer and made him captain. Only conceded 24 goals the whole season and Demeritt had 7.5 rating. Also picked up Andy Butler on free transfer - good backup. Unloaded the GKs, Butterfield, Hammond (350k) and Conolly and brought in O'Conner on free transfer playing next to Lambert...each rocking on goals.

Had so much interest in Llana that I sold him for 2.8MM to Middlesborough, make $300k on their promotion and $300k after 30 games. Brought in young loaners to cover for wings for rest of season (Kalkutta, LuaLua) and they are doing well. Acquired Meghni (Algerian DM/CM) on free transfer and already worth > 2MM, put him in ball winning mid support role and own midfield. Just ran League 1 over with no defeats in the regular league games (although several draws), won JP trophy and made semis on League Cup and 4th round FA Cup. Averaged 2-3 Goals per goal and only 0-1 conceded. Only major flaw is wingers aren't permanents or spectacular and defensive line is slow. I'm going to pick up in June 2011 window new LB, a speeded backup CB in games that I expect to push up, and a high-end winger. Any left-over money to be spent on hot prospects.

Correction - It was Medhi Lacen that I picked up on free transfer, not Meghni. I heard that Ryan Babel is available in next window so we'll see if I get a great winger soon.
