Champions with Gateshead in our second season in the PL! Guess it helps that Haaland only managed 16 goals. Unfortunately lost the FA cup to Arsenal in extra time.

It's doing good for my Sunderland team in the Championship atm, had a great defence for a while but suddenly started conceding a few goals in the last 6-7 games, also my strikers don't score much in the team although the LW and AP score quite often...do you think it is worth putting the ST onto PF-A? As my main strikers Jerry Yates and Wesley Moraes are better suited to that role, and pls let me know if you have any tips on how to stop conceding like trying a Mid-block some games or something like that.

I've had the same problem with my striker as well, as soon as I reached the premier league, but the three men behind the striker more than makes up for it. Haven't tried changing to a pressing forward yet, but it makes sense to try. I'm thinking maybe a poacher or a pressing forward.

When it comes to defence the right side is made for scoring goals, which makes it vulnerable. You might change the right back to complete wing back support and tick off play wider for the right centre half, but I haven't tried it myself.

My striker doesn't perform as predicted in the top league either, but I'm getting goals from all the players that's supposed to contribute to my attack, even my BWM, so as a team they perform absolutely fantastic. Have you considered a TF? The two roles I'm absolutely sure would mess up my tactic (which probably means they're the ones that would work) are treq and F9, as they would get in the way and mess up for the SS and AP.

Ive played enough FM over the years to know the game will probably decide to screw me over come December but the start of the season has been extremely straight forward

4 of those losses were games we got overrun in once getting a player sent off - always one of the back four, not really been able to work out which positions to switch out for a defender once getting a red
