Oooh, Young off, guess it's that yellow card - Scrap that, Fourth official made a mistake, it's Downing and Petrov on for Pires and Bannan.
Would of liked Bannan to get 90 minutes

Fourth off. messed up with the board. Pires and Barry off, Stan and Downing on. Houllier making good substitutions, with only 65 mins on the board! Wonders will never cease...

Maybe this is the start of the meteoric rise of Houllier as Villa boss.
Out if interest, did you see Pires said that Houllier doesn't have the support of a few Villa players (can't remember his exact words)?

Hope Notts County can keep their lead, I've always liked them for some reason. Still 0-0 at Bolton, would love to see York beat Bolton.

well I'm quite a lot later than everyone else commenting on the Leeds game but I'm going to comment anyway.
Overall Arsenal were def the better team but Leeds played valiantly. First half we didn't really create anything but were doing ok in stopping Arseal (with the exception of the one on one). But as the half went on Arsenal started to grind us down and were getting closer and closer (I could barely handle the scrambles in our box when we cleared off the line 3 times). 2nd half was very very good. we actaully started to look like we could score and thanks to Gradel we were awarded a blatant penalty which Snoddy put away (just). We were pretty solid defensively which really surprised me. Obviously was very worried when Fabregas came on but even more so when Walcott came on (knew his huge pace would cause problems). I thought that the first Arsenal penalty shout wasn't a penalty, it wasn't enough to be one. The actual penalty I also thought was a very soft penalty but fair play to Walcott for staying on his feet.
Overall fantastic result for Leeds but lets hope it doesn't ruin our league form like last year. The whole team were great, even Johnson. Standouts were Kasper, both centre backs (both made crucial tackles), Watt was dangerous (shocked Arsenal let him play), Gradel was dangerous and so too was Snoddy (so close with the free kick and put way our PK). Becchio ran himself into the ground.

Oh York what have you done? Now it's 2-0. Good fighting for 83 minutes though. Southampton going through, 2-0.
