I'm not even trying to be patronising here, but I think you need to see a replay, IMO he does everything possible to stay up and shoot. His shot is halfway through collapsing, why would you dive when you're trying to shoot?

Yes, the keeper was right infront of him, he was unlikely to score, he was always gonna get the pen.

I'm not confident, it's gonna be a tight game at St. Andrews but I am heartened again by some of the passing ability shown by the players and the performance of Kyle Walker is worth a mention too.

Looks like Kyle Walker had a pretty amazing debut, overall. Almost cost Villa a goal with a risky sideways pass, but scored a goal and created another... at right-back.

Steven Caulker was the other guy I was looking out for today. Gets injured in a collision with his own goalkeeper, David James, and goes off after 10 minutes. Bristol City's defence can't cope and they end up losing 3-0. Shame, they really miss him when he is absent.

It looked half dive, half penalty to me. He was tugged, many players would have gone down at that moment, then he tries to go on, can't score and goes down. Respect to the man for admitting it, sucks for Leeds though.
