Proud of our performance at spurs as I really expected a stuffing but in the end we matched them and created the better chances in the first half against a strong Spurs side, including one spell where we destroyed Corluka down their right. Them bringing Modric on changed things and for 15 minutes their quality showed and by the time we began to play well again, the damage had been done.

Still now we need to get our new manager and put all our effort into getting promotion, which is by far the highest priority, but that performance has made me feel a little less ashamed to be a Charlton supporter at the moment.
 
Our last few games against Tottenham have been frustrating. However, I feel we will be capable of beating them as long as we get a striker in.

Onwards and upwards.

well, we were unlucky not to win that! more shots and more on target, bamba had 6 efforts, 5 on target and 1 goal! man city didnt have a clue how to deal with him, what a debut!
we had man city clearing off thier line twice, plus forcing hart into a couple of good saves, and scoring two goals, we were really unlucky not to win that. we had more enthusiam, more passion, and more desire to win the game, half the man city side for the most part were dreaming about what to do with this weeks undeserved pay cheque.
we need the same application again in the replay, and i really think we can do it, no-one man city have can remotley deal with bamba in the air! happy with that considering i expected us to lose, but slightly irked as we could have won today :)
 
interesting draw, Chelsea weren't taking any prisoners today, very bullish performance and the kind of which they started the season with. However, City 3rd Round shambles again, Leicester will be confident about travelling to Eastlands and pulling a surprise
 
Gotta be pleased with that draw as an Evertonian, Burton are in the next round, now that would have been tough.
 
If Chelsea belted Ipswich 7-0, I'm really looking forward to our game this week :)

And pretty happy we got drawn with Huddersfield, really looking to forward to seeing Benik Afobe play. Thats presuming we get through.

We'll be in a much better state by that time haha, right now we're managerless and to be honest have no idea what's going on :P
 
Assuming we beat Leeds this has been a fortuitous draw for us, quite pleased with it.
 
haven't seen it yet obviously but heard from Ancelotti and Lampard and many more that McEachran was sensational today and easily MOTM. This lad is looking better and better, will watch the full 90minutes later to see this.

Gutted after that result, we had that game at Half-time, we were all over you and probably should have been at least 2 up including, I havn't seen it since I saw it live, a blatant pen. After HT though we were utterly naff, I don't know what happened. Maybe complacency set in and maybe we expected the goals to arrive just as they had threatened to do so and even though Wednesday were good we made you look better. The way you scored your second was basic defending at its worst.

I was one of many in the ground who stayed and clapped the Wednesday players off. As I mentioned to a mate, they got a better reception than our players. Good Luck in the rest of the competition.

you are so up and down, i saw you at elland road and tbh you were ***** then you play qpr and outplyed them from what i saw, then thrashed a very good cardiff side lol then lose to a team in a league lower..... seems you have the making of a good team but is just missing something.
 
watching the pen yet again, agger is an idiot. harshly done by but you just dont try and put your foot out there like that

He puts his hand on his back too, could be seen as pushing him off balance too. It's harsh, but Agger should know better. The challenge wasn't needed either.
