I think it was proved yestardy that 4-4-2 is very much a live and well. Utd looked poor in there kinda diamondy type formation early on with no depth or anything, when we changed to 4-4-2 it was more the spreading southampton then the personal i think, We looked more likely to score.. Owen look brighter in 4-4-2 as well.

I think the formation helped more to be honest, Gibson has been shocking at times this year.. No dount yestardy wasnt his finest hour, but he has been solid in others, Running around, Kinda getting in the other teams ways, You know the headless chicken role he does so well.
