If Arsenal can't beat a "weakened" Man Utd, then......they pretty much won't win the title imo. simply because they're throwing away chance after chance to win something. They just seem to falter all the time, and put pressure on themselves, which thy cant seem to deal with

some people gotta hate.

unlucky today, consider you made 5 changes, you were very good against bolton. lee bowyer no contract though? at least one more year surely?

Well we made 5 changes from the Everton team, but overall its a shadow of our normal first team in reality. Very unlucky i thought, we played really well, knocked the ball around freely with a make shift side!! After half an hour losing Fergie and Jiranik to injuries and replaced by Redmond youngster, and Ridgewell playing in the middle where he hasn't for a long while. It just screams out for us to get spanked, by what people keep telling me a great Bolton side this year, i failed to see that today...

I left feeling hard done by, but proud of the effort we put in. After our previous cup glory, we know our priority is league consolidation, proud of the lads that came in, but definitely a blessing in disguise.

Lee Bowyer definitely deserving a contract, as long as he understand that he cant be expecting first team regularity as he has lost a slight edge. We have similar situations with Martin Jiranik, Seb Larsson, James McFadden, who im sure will all sign once we confirm our PL status. Although people are suggesting otherwise, Eck has said he wants the players to concentrate on our predicament atm, we will sort contracts once the job is done, which i think has been a great psychological ploy, Larsson has been on fire of late!

Lovely football by Arsenal......with nearly zero penetration. They need a big target man as a focus for the lovely wall passing.

Fabio and Rafael are just personifying what Arsenal lack for me. Driving up and down the wings all day, fight for every ball - nothing is a lost cause. Not afraid to challenge, and just a natural desire to win. And they're still just 20.

Another game where Arsenal seem to lack any drive to even have a shot at goal. It's all very nice to watch but just have a shot once in a while!

Had a cheeky in play bet as the game began, United to go into half time in front, 3/1

£5 placed down. Lovely ^^)

arsenal are looking sloppy and need to learn to stop trying to walk the ball in through the middle of the park - so many times has sagna/nasri had LOADS of space up the right yet they still try to go through the middle...

Smalling is having a very good game at the back. Under a more experienced defence in Brown, Vidic and Evra, it seems to have rubbed off in him having the confidence to do well. Playing central defender next to an old head has brought out the best in his own game, and those decisive tackles are proving to be crucial.

The counter-attack he started against the run of play is one of the examples. He's turning out to be a decent prospect for the future.

Rooney has worked his socks off. Rafael and Fabio are not giving any space and closing down very well.
Gibson is surprisingly good and i have decided O'shea as a CM > Carrick. He has won the ball well, shame about his passing. Had he got some good passer beside him, he would have looked even better.

Smalling is absolute rock, along with Vida.

Oh forgot Chicharito header was excellent, Fabio's goal was typical mid fielder goal. That is the reason i want him to play as CM. When he passed the ball to Rafael, he was in CM position and it was there for everyone to see that he continued his run like a typical goal scoring mid fielder like Lampard. He has goal scoring instincts. Hope Ferige will play him as CM.

Can't complain how the game has gone with the the team we are playing..

I've been calling for Rafael to play in midfield for a while, and it's great do see he and Fabio playing pretty well. I was, and still am dubious about the central midfield but were coping really well so far. Were putting a lot into the game though and I can see us tiring towards the end

Playing Rafael as a winger would be a problem as we have Valencia and Nani. And he is an exciting fullback too.. Shame Fabio is not getting enough game time.

Nth time, Fabio should play as a CM. He has the drive, determination to win the ball and skill to beat the man, and good passing range. Decent shot too..

Great to see Valencia back, shame he's taken Fabio off.

I think Fabio is still too lightweight to play as a premiership cm. The two are our future fullbacks, no doubt in my mind about that

Valencia is back.. Get in... Hope he is the same player we missed.

There was one game where Rafael played as a CM and did very well too.. Silva is not doing bad either.. I think if he can do the job, then he is the answer for all our CM problems..

VDS still the best.. What a save...
