It is a choice you get when you want to auto-save. It gives you 3 save files including your current and it saves automatically over each every week.

EG. (My save files, ignore all except the Watford ones)

I have chosen to save it weekly so on:

Week 1: it will save on Watford
Week 2: it will save on Watford v02
Week 3: it will save on Watford v03
Week 4: it will save on Watford (it starts from the top again)

This is what I think, so I'm not 100%, it may not save over your main save eg. Watford as it may just save over v02 and v03 alternatively.
 
So if my autosave is every month, it will save over monthly ?

No, I don't think so. Maybe in an editor you probably could.

Yeah it will save every month but I recommend changing it to every fortnight or week since a month is alot of work to redo if it crashes and a week isn't.

Just a general question didnt know if this was right place to put it but here goes...

What do I need to take into consideration before I ask the board to improve training / youth facilites?
 
Nothing really mate. Just ask them and they will say yes or no :P
 
I just downloaded a edidted league and extracted it to the right file but cant seem to find it when i start my football manager, any help please?

Depends, can take a year. I was Arsenal once and it took them until the end of the season to improve the facilities.

Does anyone know how the arrange friendly clause work?

I mean like who organizes it and where does it take place etc.
 
Why is Swansea City (Championship) offering the manager's job to me when I have spent only 7 months managing Bradford (League 2). I am top of the league, but still it is a bit fast. In fact, except perhaps for the premiership, most of the clubs have me as the most probable candidate after sacking their managers.

It was very hard to resist the temptation to manage million dollar players instead of the **** 10-20k ones, but I have to finish one season at least!

EDIT: I began with past experience set to Professional Footballer.
 
I think that its because you put Professional Footballer as past experienc... Did you apply fo the job or???

No, the rumours list me as the foremost candidate for almost all the English clubs and even some Spanish ones. The latest are Middlesborough and Portsmouth.

I tested it and applied for the jobs. It was immediately accepted. In fact, Portsmouth even agreed to delay my joining until the end of season. Well, it looks like I am headed towards the Premier league straight from League 2. More likely the Championship, though - Portsmouth are very close to relegation.

Not sure if I want to join them though. Their finances are in a very bad shape and their transfer budget is very small ($140K). Their wage budget is OK, though ($775K).

I have a quickie, just from observing all the FM boards and stuff..why does everyone start out with Leeds utd? Do they have the best start up finances or something?

It's just one thing that's caught my Leeds this, Leeds that.

I did have another question, but for the life of me I can't remember.

edit, I remembered..Does getting the Assistant or coaches choosing the side for the match have any negative effects on the game? The past couple games I've just been letting them choose from a fresh slate, but didn't know if it really effected anything.
 
I was just wondering does any one no how to re size an image? or set a cropped him so that it appears large when you attach it?

They start off with quite alot of money and good finances for their positioning. They are a good challenge and are promotion candidates.
