This will sound really noobish but I've been off FM for a while so don't verbally rape me.
I can't offer for verrati and a guy at real madrid. However I tested and I can make an offer for Rooney. Why?
I'm Newcastle by the way.

Verratti is co-owned by two clubs so that might have something to do with it. Try and sign him again in 2nd season. DOn't know about the Madrid guy
 
verratti is co-owned isnt he?

you will ahve to wait until the co-ownership agreement ends and one of the teams acquires him fully, then you can bid. alterntively you amy be able to make an offer to both teams for their respective shares in the player.

as for the real amdrid guy, no idea, italy is the only country with co-ownership

Might be being a idiot here and it might have already been asked, but can i not install skins or facepacks and club logos on to FM10 if i am using Steam? because i have followed the instruction and there just not working :/
 
hi guys-

not long played fm, but i have reached the 2nd season of a game three times on fm10.

the first time was with preston, i finished 8th in first season, bought a few players just to strengthen weak areas, and in the second season i lost the first 4 games. i actually couldnt play any further because the game was deleted- long story

anyway i have now started a new game with QPR. finished 6th first season and lost in play off semi final to WBA. again, second season i have won just two league games in 7, knocked out of league cup by norwich and just lost to promoted millwall. this is the last straw, as in the other game i had done i also did terribly in second season. i really want to have a meaningful game on fm, so was wondering does anyone please have any tips about how to succeed 2nd season, because im obviously doing something wrong. apologies for the long message
 
I was wondering how to get the best out of Jovetic, im playing him behind the strikers as an attacking midfielder
 
Hi all. I have a little problem. The t-shirt from tactics have disappeared and I don't know how to fix this. Anyone have a suggestion?

Reset skin from outside the game?

Saw that checking cache of game was a way to get the get CD Key option back in Steam.

It detected a few wrong files and a popup said it proceeded to replace them (I thought I would have a chance to accept that or reject, I didn't).

Now the skin doesn't work right and I can't access the option to set it back to the original from inside the game, but I don't find the ini file to do it.

Searching the forums has given no results

EDIT- Solved using command line to set it to another skin. --skin=[skin]

hi, i need help with a problem i have with the transfer list. for some reason when i go to it, the only players i can see on there are from the uk?? it wasnt like that before? anyone know how to change it back? i have looked all over.

Go to the Filter near the top right hand corner player search screen and select Clear FIlter
 
tried that but when i go and click on quick filters then transfer listed it olny brings up uk players again?
 
is "Ask assistant to filter unrealistic targets" clicked
go to where you click Clear Filters, and click Edit Filters instead. The Ask assistant thing is near the bottom of the dialog box
 
newcastle but im in my 3rd season in the premiership an this has only just happened?

Just been on msn to message a friend of mine to get some feedback on Jovetic for you as hes a jovetic fanatic/Specilist. He says try playing him as a left winger with a 'Attack' duty and give him a fair amonut of creative freedom like half bar he says and set his 'Cross from' and 'Cross aim' on mixed as he usually likes to cut inside onto his favoured right foot. He also said that when jovetic cuts inside on some ocassions its best to have a really good left back aswell getting foward as much as possible getting into crossing 'zones' giving jovetic a options to pass out wide for a cross or using him as a decoy.

He said Jovetic usually gets alot more goals than assists tho which comes from him cutting inside then threading a killer pass to his poacher.

Really good advice imo hope it works for you he said.

I have a problem. Instead of addressing me from my last name (where there is inbox and messages etc....)
it's addressing me by my first name, anything I can do to change it?
 
that did it luke cheers. it was the ' only show players eligible to play for england ' box was ticked.
its because i am england under 21 manager too.

Hey guys i am wondering how to put screen shots on my fm story page it doesnt work for me. Normally just print screen works but aint happening. I know this is to do with fm tacitcs and players but just need some help.
