asked them not to dive into tackles aswell, on training moves
 
yea i could try that, i sort of like the ''Alan Smith'' way of tackling though... plus i dont think people after the age of 26 change their gameplay? They generally say theres no point :| I will defo ask him when im home tonight though!

Anything else?
 
dunno if this is the right catagory but just askin a stupid simple question.... does steam do transfer updates or will i have to download stuff off here?
 
steam automatically patches the game for you. the next patch (the one with all of januarys updates) will be out soon
 
Is anyone else having trouble with the 'Go Advanced' option when replying to a thread?

All I'm getting is a blank screen oO)

so does anyone know how i find the football manager 10 file so i can put my kits in there?

I have no clue how to set up my OI instructions so I'd love to let the Assistant Man. handle that but it doesn't give me the option, is it because of the assistant manager I currently have or do I need to fool around with some settings first ?

I'm looking for help and advice about managing in the MLS, I'd like to start a game up but the I am very confused by the different types of contracts used, the designated player rules and the whole draft process. Perhaps somebody out there can help me out? Either post or PM please!

I'd really appreciate some advice on formation and getting the most from these players, I've tried so many different approaches and the play always seems so stuttery and awkwared the passes dont flow and the goals dont come.

RB:Ranan
CB: Otamendi/Dunne
CB: Cuellar
LB: Warnock

CM: Hamsik/ Velso
CM: Moutinho/Gourcuff

AML: A Young

ST: Dzeko
ST: Hulk/Carew

These are my key players, roate sometimes with Petrov and Delph, and Delfouneso.

Individually these players are very good, but I cant seem to get it to click on the pictch. Any thought?

P.S. Dzeko has been diabolical , pld 23 gls 6 *** 4 , been trying him as target man attk, and advanced fwd attk

can anybody help me with player attributes, when i click on a player all the attributes have gone
 
Hi, created some kits for AFC Liverpool and wanted to put them into my new game with them. So I downloaded the config off IanC's thread which I have used before. I created a folder in my 'kits' folder named the division of the league AFC Liverpool are in. I then put the config in with the number of AFC Liverpool's unique ID. I then put the kits in. All my other kits work but this one won't show up. Can anyone help me?

How do you get XML files to work with FM? Iv tried everything but no luck. Is there something i need to tick or untick in preferences? Help Pleaseee :)

Who needs your arsenals and inters when youve got weston super-mare:D, i won the title first season despite being predicted second from bottom and am now mid table in blue square premier with ivan campo mark bower and my star player amadou kouman (with a name like that he must be good!). But i have got a contract offer from birmingham who are second from bottom in the premier league and have a budget of £9m. Should i stay with my original club or reach for the stars???
I have alot of decent youth players already in the first team and may have a new chairman but im still not sure..

I have carried on with weston and i need some good free players who may join me, prefably not midfielders as i have good ones but i dont mind, skacel has a club and so does andrande

I want to start a new game with manchester city. I will use a 4-4-2 tactic.

My problem is that I have no idea what Role and Duty suits at best for the striker partnership between tevez and adebayor?

Should I use tevez as a deep lying forward, advanced forward or poacher and which Duty?
The same problem for adebayor.

can someone recommend me a ideal setting for this partnership.
