Nah I don't think it's a tactic issue. I win time of possession, I'm getting plenty of shots on target usually 10+ with 4-5 clear cut chances so plenty of opportunities I just can't get through him. I've had games where I've had 8 clear cut chances with no result. And as I said Even when they concede a penalty I'm still stuffed. If I wan't winning the possession battle, getting around 10-15 shots on target per game yeah it's a tactic issue but the tactic is getting me opportunities and pleanty of clean cut ones too just not beating this SOB. And it's not like I get flogged either they're mostly 0-0 draws or 1-0 losses. So really don't think it's the tactic being countered.

There's a 41212 (Home) and 4123(away) the only mods I make are setting 1 CB to a Limited defender stopper Man marking and the other to Limited defender- cover- zone marking, and changing one of the cm midfielders to deeplying playmaker in the 4123 and the attacking mid to advanced playmaker in the 41212

Hey, I am having a bit of trouble with fulham. Im considering my options....I have 500k to spend, and i cannot seem to find any players which are going to better my team, can only find players which will be good squad back-ups..... However, i have teams interested in Hughes (6m) and Hangeland (7m) which obviously comes to 13m. So am i better off finding a couple more centre backs for around 2-3m and then investing in my squad with about 5 or 6m, or just sitting tight this season and hoping i can get some revenue in for next year...HELP?????

Why do you only have 500k transfer budget?

There are a couple of decent CBs out there Johan Djourou (sp?) [Arsenal]. I would recommend Bramble (But like in real life Wigan try to rip you off)
Try looking at a few loan players, some ususal gems off there.
If you want to sell, but also wait till end of the season, may I suggest, changing the Transfer date to end of the season. Will also give you some valuable time in searching for replacements, knowing what funds you have.

In some cases that does happen. but I find that it only happens if there morale is low. What I mean on change the date is when you offer the player, instead of being Next Available change to End of Season, just keeps the depth aswell, knowing you have funds for next season aswell. Gives you more time to search for MUCH better options. Im not sure who is usually on the loan list, as I cant see as im at work. What is Hughes actual Valuation? If its £4million then they wil offer that amount. Just keep offering at £6million and they should then offer it eventually.

I don't mind losing but I'd like to be to be able score occasionaly. My strikers are capable of lob and rounding the keeper and I still can't through him.It's getting a bit ridiculous that I haven't scored on arsenal for almost 14 matches. Any suggestions?

Edit: Oh I actually have beat them once except he was out injured but you get the point

if it's not tactics then i'm not sure but i would try to prolong the buildup play like you would against an extremely defensive team and try to spread the ball about the pitch more so you get scenarios where you have someone from the wing getting to the goalline and coming inside before passign it to someone to shoot in the far bottom corner.

not sure how you could get your team to do that though but if you can it should work.

Ahh I see. When you offer a player to clubs that are interested in, they seem to offer only double the players evaluation. That would suggest as to why there bidding at only £4million.
Yeah it shouldnt go to bad tbf mate, its worked for me a fair few times, when I was struggling to find suitable replacements. Dont forget, you get £7mill for the Chris Smalling transfer at the end of the season aswell. I could suggest Mark Beevers (You will have to use monthly installments on him though) I think he goes for round about £2million.
Turns into a very decent player.

As im at work I cant really think of players off the top of my head, but if you still need some help, you can PM me and I can get back to you with better options. That is if you need any further help

just remembered you could try and get miles addison off of derby as he plays well for me on my derby save and i'm sure he could make the stepup if given a chance, although he may be more one for the future then for now.

Yeah Miles Addison is a good shout. Id agree and saying hes one for the future, as is Mark Beever, but given the chance, they look like great players.

there's no best formation. it is basically based on the players you have and the style you want to play. formation is just a shape. its the positions, philosophies and mentality that count. maybe you can let us know the players you have or your preferred lineup?

Theres a couple of decent Tactic for Man City.
Theres JP Woodys 4-2-3-1 formation.
Barcelona style 4-5-1 formation.
Comeplete Dominance (Compact Diamond)

As you have Tevez and Adebayor, there is a 4-2-4 Man Utd tactic, in the tactic download section. Its prietty much 2 CM's, AMR and AML.
You could always download about 3 or 4, and experiment during Pre Season and see which gives you the best results.

Oh right I see. If Smalling hasnt got TRN next to his name, then youve got an old patch. Areola is a fantastic signing. Turns out to be one of the best keepers on the game.

i thought that myself, im going to use him in the carling cup, im not really to bothered about that competition, would much rather focus on the league and europe for time being so will give him the no1 shirt in that competition

Nah, tbh what I did when managing Prescot Cables is downloaded TheBetterHalf's frameworks, recognised my teams strengths and weaknesses and took it from there really.
