need help badly!

I'm Portsmouth, qualified for the Champions League but when I go to register players it won't let me continue because I ain't got 4 players trained by the club... HELP!

I don't wanna lose all the work I've done. This has annoyed me so much

When you guys create training scheldue's do you make one for each player or each position , because i am thinking about creating my own

Depends, I generally get a good training scedule from here, recently I got this specialist training that specializes in roles. So that worked wonders except for the odd one or two.

And then for my important players and future young prospects I make them have their own training schedules for their own ability.

JP Woody made a spreadsheet that showed the exact training schedules for each person depending on their stats. It's amazing but takes a while for each player.

I also had a quick look to find a link for you to easily access them, but I failed in finding one. Sorry.

I've got a problem that's driving me nuts.

The issue I'm having is that my team's kits are not showing up properly during matches. I edited QPR so that they are now a completely different team. They have a new name, new players, new logo, new kits, etc. When I used the editor to change the kit colours, I changed them to black and silver. However, when I start a match with this new team the kit colours remain white and blue. I have also checked this with FMRTE, and the kit colours are edited the same way I have them in the normal editor. I've restarted the game, tried creating a new game, and quadruple checked the editor. Nothing I do seems to fix this issue. Can someone please tell me just what the **** I'm missing?

I don't know much about kits, so I'm sorry for the people that I can't help, but if I had to take a guess at what your problem is, I would say that when you start a new game there is a box you can tick saying "use real players", I don't think you have that box ticked.

I think you have nothing left to do, unless you have time to make a quick flash signing out of the blue to meet the requirements other than that I would say, use your reserves and youth players as they might be training as well.

If all else fails then, ever thought of trying to go on holiday for a day?

I don't know exactly but how long is finishing?
That would be probably from anywhere in the box. Long shots would then be outside the box, I think.

My game freeze when I reach 30th June 2010.
I don't get any error message, it's just freeze and I can't do anything. I can't click browse or anything else.

I also tired going on holiday, but with no results

Any help?

You players can just slot into downloadable tactics.
To increase your transfer budget, you need to tell the board that you have a high ambition eg. winning the league or title challenging. The bigger you ambition of winning, the more money they will give you to backup you view.
However if that doesn't work, if they don't let you choose, then all you can do is either use an Editor or sell players.

Can anyone help me with what story I should maybe do?

Man Utd bust, because the Chelsea one seems to easy and Man City can easily knock them out.

I don't know what you could do other than uninstalling FM10 and re-isntalling it. Or it could be a hardware issue.

Are you sure, because the game starts at 2009. How did you reach 2010 in 3 hours?

Or does the freezing happen at random dates as well?

Well I have a small, but a pesky problem.
When I try to upload a picture to my sig, theres no problem, but then when I insert it, and either press Save or Preview, there comes up an error stating that I cant use 2 pictures?
Even if my signature is blank, and I have no picture uploaded, and then put a smile-face in there the same error come up.

So my question, any way to reset your signature, or any other way to get it working?

I can see iun your sig now there is a picture that can't be shown. Try just starting from the top, deleting every letter from the edit sig box, and sav it. Then go back to it and start again.

You can use FMRTE to heal players once they get injured.

nah sorry andid1, but if i'll have to edit out injuries i'd be cheating as the other teams would still get them and im not about to fix 500 ppl a day from all over the world. it has to be a disable function for all teams + i would still get just as frustrated knowing it happened regardless of me being able to *fix* it on a player to player basis. so tyvm, but looks like i'll just mess with this and test the math in the game and hope the don't change it to much for fm2011

For example, I haven't loaded any leagues in Africa so is it even worth scouting there or should just leave it cause I won't unearth any players?

There isn't much point since your scouts won't find much, I only found one good player from Africa, and he was going to be a world class RB in the future. However, that was me searching myself through well known countries and my current African Scout finds nothing whatsoever. So there is no point scouting Africa but other countries like Argentina and Brazil are well worth scouting, even if you haven't loaded the database for that country.

Noob questions

Hello one and all!! After being ****** off that I couldn't manage the US National Team in FIFA Manager, I have come over to the light side and recently bought Football Manager 2010. I am hooked!! It is an amazing sim, and exactly what I've been craving. However, I had a couple brief (probably noob) questions that I could not find answers to elsewhere.

1. Is there any way to show the entire match on the 3D mode? It seems like it is skipping parts of the action (maybe 2, 3 game minutes at the time) and then going back to showing it. I want to evaluate my players and tactics over the entire course of a match, and it's a bit frustrating not being able to see all of it.

2. I decided to manage Celtic for my first job to learn the ropes of the whole thing, and it's gone pretty well. However, I am a bit confused by the transfer policy. We have 35 million or so in the bank and are turning over a regular profit each of the last few months (many time upwards of 7 or 8 million), and I get pumped about adding to my squad. Come to find out, my transfer budget is 4 million!! My question is, can I badger the owner for more money or increase my budget somehow? Now I'm not trying to sign Cristiano Ronaldo here, but it does seem a bit ridiculous that a (seemingly) big club like Celtic cannot afford even a 5 million dollar transfer?
