You can only approach players who have less than 6 months on their contract and are currently playing in a different country to you.
 
Does enabling/disabling attribute masking have any effect on the other teams and their managers? Or does it only affect the human manager? I hope disabling it doesn't make it easier for the AI managers.
 
Hi, this has been annoying me for a long time now. When I try and organise a league this happens:

How could I organise them for seperate dates? Like one, then another 4 days later etc. not the day after it. I tried clicking on one of them and it just changes the 3 days to do it.

Friendly cup's duration is 2-3 days, you can't have a 4 day gap in the friendly cup.

I would have thought that it only affects you so it's more difficult since you have to scout the player to know his stats. Which is more realistic but only you can affected I think, since the AI know the database inside out but are set to only do cerain things.

EG. if a mediocre defender was released and you didn't know, half the teams in your database would know but you wouldn't.

I don't think they can do it over a couple of days since it's a friendly. But it's a friendly so they won't be too worned out, they'll make 2 matches surely and 3 if you push it with reserves playing.
 
Someone said to me - "or alternitively you could load up only the leagues you want to play and then either switch these others to view only or load up all players of continential reputation from europe and south america."

Can someone tell me what is meant by this and when (eg before/after starting a game) and how to do it? Especially the last two actions. My i5 with 4GB RAM goes down to 3 stars upon loading 50k players, but I do want to get as many players as I possibly can without spoilng my gameplay experience.

you have to do it when you start up a new game, when you pick which country and league to play in. Then it will have a summary of the countries picked on the mid to right part of the screen and a drop down menu section where the default option is "playable".. just switch those to view.

don't worry about the star things.. i load up huge games on my pc and get half a star sometimes.. game doesn't take that long to load.

I get half or 1 star ratings but it doesn't make much of a a difference in game. The only difference is that when you start the game for the first time, a very big database can take up to an hour to start if your comp is very slow but I doubt it will.

Bear in mind, I don't think teams from countries not selected would win much.

- Can you change a league from playable to view only or vice versa after starting the game? Can you add/remove a league after starting a game?

- Can you change players/leagues loaded from the Game Status/Detail screen (shown once a game starts). I am a bit confused about this. I have read some parts of the online manual but haven't come across these details yet. Any help would be appreciated :)

No as far as I know you can do neither of these mate, would be a nice feature if you could but I think it would be to memory consuming and cause some users major problems.

I've started a game with Birmingham and have a quick question for you guys....

I have Ben Foster in goal and i need a back-up ... do you think i should buy another keeper and use Foster as back up or just buy a back up keeper
