Ok I'm the brummy's in 2013/2014 season, my team is immense but I have won everything possible at club level with them. Except lower league trophies because I did not recieve relagation. I am in a dilema because after winning the everything consectively. I want to win other trophies in other nations the only job insecure is the Valladolid job which is Under review, should I stay or go? I don't wanna see the Brummy's go down as bad management can do that.

In quick reply there is a tick box on the bottom right, which says show signature

Tried to load my last saved game, but some error message popped up saying that it couldn't load??? Then when I try to load it the game crashes. Have I lost my game for good???

So has it wiped out all of my saved games or just one? What did you do? Will it happen again?

The message says "not well-formed (invalid token) at line 1 of last saved game" I think.

I guess I'll be starting again. Really wants to put me off playing FM, I only got it 2 days ago...

Set up in your options a rolling autosave. It'll mean you won't lose much (depending on how often you set the autosave - weekly is what I use) if saves get corrupted.

Well I've had both happen to me. I've recently had one game curropted and i couldn't do anything and i've also had it when all my games got curropted and i couldn't start a new game so i had to create a new user on my laptop and then it worked but that was before i knew this website so theres probably something on here.

Any tips on how to get the best out of Rooney?
And any signings good enough for Utd under 6 million in Jan?

Any ideas how to not get into a tangle with work permits? I had to give up two 5-star strikers on a free transfer because their work permit got rejected. Darn you UK rules!

Also, how much trust should you place in your scouts' and *** Man's reports about players? They all have good scouting stats.

The same question about tactics/opposition instructions/team talks :)
 
hi all

i normally play with smaller clubs, so my staff are normally pretty **** (until i can offload em)...being with smaller clubs means little or no money, so signings are cheap or freebies....my question is, i know what attributes i want in a player, but often when i scout or bring players in on trial, my assis man, coaches and scouts, say players are not good enough...should i take advice from crappy staff members?...any advice on this?

Rooney is a good Complete Forward Support.

About the signings, I would personally get someone up there with Rooney who can bring the best out of him but with 6 million I don't know if it's enough for a player that's deemed worthy for Man Utd.

It depends, take there advice if you have no clue but since you do then do what you want since a low team will have bad ***. Managers with bad attributes such as Judging Players Ability. So you can't believe them all the time.

I am managing Bradford (League 2) and have an *** Man with JPA 11 and JPP 14. Can I trust his judgement? He manages media and team talks brilliantly and all my players have extremely high morale. I know the two things are separate, but he is not useless :)

Well being Bradford which is League 2, I don't think you can be too picky with your players since you don't have billions in the bank so I would trust his judgement.

However, his JPA isn't great so don't base your team around it. I especially mean this if you are looking at a player that you want to sell, don't listen to your Assistant Manager's point of view. You make the decision when selling.

If you posted it on the story section, it has to be approved, otherwize you just ****** up when making the thread.
