The Jewel of Old Bari - An Antonio Cassano & SSC Bari Story
My decision is made about my new save. I am rocking up in Italy with a lower league management save as I take over SSC Bari while managing under the pretence of being Antonio Cassano. Bari are historically the 17th best club in Italy however they have never won a major trophy. They have been reborn a couple of times due to financial difficulties but in the early 90s they held the British transfer record when they signed David Platt for £5.5m.
The current side are in Serie C (the lowest level in FM21) and having been bought over by the owners of Napoli, Luigi De Laurentiis, there is a hope that they can return to Serie A. The club play in the huge San Nicola Stadium which was built for Italia 90 so that bodes well for the future but the other facilities at the club need to be improved.
My aim of this save is to take Bari to the top of Italian football and then European football while if there is a chance to manage the Italian national side then all the better. The reputation of Antonio Cassano is going to change!!!!!

ANTONIO CASSANO
Il Gioiello di Bari Vecchia (The Jewel of Old Bari) was a mercurial footballer with a reputation as being a bit of a badboy. He was born in Bari and started his career there before sealing a £28m move to Roma at the age of 19. He went on to play for Real Madrid, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Sampdoria amongst others as well as earning 39 caps for the Italian national team. Upon retirement he has opened up about his womanising etc and I think he was in the Italian big brother. Now in this save he is returning to his hometown club to take them back to the top!
