Fulham Football Club

images

Fulham Football Club is a professional football club based in Fulham, London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Founded in 1879, they will play in the English Football League Championship starting in the 2014-2015 football season, having been relegated from the Premier League in 2013-14 after 13 consecutive seasons.[3] They were the oldest established football team from London playing in the Premier League.[4]
The club has spent twenty-five seasons in English football's top division, the majority of that in two spells during the 1960s and 2000s. The latter spell was associated with former chairman Mohamed Al-Fayed, after the club had climbed up from the fourth tier in the 1990s. Fulham have never won a major honour, although they have reached two major finals. In 1975, as a Second Division team, they contested the FA Cup final for the only time in their history, losing 2–0 to West Ham United. Fulham reached the 2010 Europa League final, which they contested with Atlético Madrid in Hamburg, losing 2–1 after extra time.[5]
The club has produced many English greats including Johnny Haynes, George Cohen, Bobby Robson, Rodney Marsh andAlan Mullery. They play at Craven Cottage, a ground on the banks of the River Thames in Fulham which has been their home since 1896. Fulham's training ground is located near Motspur Park, where the club's Academy is also situated.

Good morning all. Well, we'll finally to get to hear King Kevin Keegan speak as manager of Fulham for the first time today being back in charge.

He was at the club's Motspur Park headquarters yesterday as he met his new charges for the first time and they were put through a double session.
But today will see him quizzed on all manner of subjects; from the challenge he faces rebuilding the fallen former Premiership side to the players he'll be bringing in to make that possible.
It promises to be another exciting day in sunny london (yes, the sun is shining) and we'll have it covered right here.

From Sportsmail's Adam Crafton...

A host of youngsters were handed a huge opportunity to impress new manager Kevin Keegan as they took part in his first training session at Motspur Park last night.

It may have been little more than making up the numbers in the absence of senior stars but it is also understood that Keegan is keen to see Fulham's young talents at first-hand before deciding who will be loaned out and who will be part of the first team-squad.
Patrick Roberts is one talent that youth coaches hope will break through after being handed his debut by Felix Magath last season,

On Wednesday evening, Patrick Roberts Josh Smile Noe Baba, Larnell Cole, Liam Donnelly, Ryan Williams, Lyle Della Varde, Tom Ricards, Cauley Woodrow all trained with Keegan

They were joined by senior players at training including new signing'S Matt Smith,Ross McCormack, Kay Voser , Aldi Chilhi and Tim Hoogland.

Loan moves for young players will be decided after Kevin Keegan consults his Staff who gave the first address at the session last night,
