Story Info
This story will take on a different aspect from the one of the manager... I have edited myself into the game & changed my age to 14 (kind of a personalised version of the recent 'play for your club' stories).
Using the England to Level 10 db, but loading up to level 8 only. Going to set myself as a randomly named manager at a low level club & my player will start off at the mighty Kingstonian!
I'm going to use this first post as a sort of overall summery page of my career, so will edit it in at the end of each season at the top & the actual season begins here:

Wednesday 1st July 2009 - Contract News
Kingatonian FC have announced the signing of a young talent. 14 year old Paul Grundy (also known as Paddy) has been a fan of the K's his whole life & was spotted by Kingstonian assistant manager Mark Hams while playing football in a local park. Paul has signed a youth contract lasting untill June 2011. Kingstonian boss Alan Dowson has stated that Grundy could make it to the top one day if he works hard enough for it.

Sunday 12th July 2009 - PSF App, 2 Goals, MoM
Raynes Park Vale 0-5 Kingstonian, Pre Season Friendly @ Grand Drive (att: 59)
Starting Pos: Left Midfield
First Half (7.1):
Grundy put in some good crosses in this half, all connecting with his targets. He has also shown good skills on the ball by taking on & beating a number of opponents.
1-0 to Kingstonian at Half Time.
Second Half (8.7):
After a rather quiete start to the second half, Bobby Traynor picked up the ball just inside the Raynes Park half & played it foward to Paul Grundy; Grundy let the ball run infront of him & took a shot from the edge of the area that found the net to make it 2-0 on 59 minutes. On 86 minutes Grundy recieved a cross from Karl Beckford on the right, he chested it down in the box & slotted it under the Raynes Park keeper & it was 4-0 to The K's. Man of the Match award went to Grundy for his two goals & superb wing play in this game.

Taunton Town 3-3 Kingstonian, Pre Season Friendly @ Wordsworth Drive (att: 97)
Starting Pos: Left Midfield
First Half (6.8):
Virtually unseen im the first half, young Paul Grundy is still looking tired from the previous game.
2-1 to Taunton Town at Half Time.
Second Half (7.2):
A slightly improved second half for Grundy but still not really in the game as The K's came from 2-1 down to be 3-2 up before Taunton pulled level. Deep into stoppage time Grundy was subbed off for Liam Collins.
3-3 draw at Full Time.

Grundy put in a few good balls & made some impressive runs but was subbed off at half time for Lewis Cook.

Grundy had a solid first half, playing in some accurate crosses & showing good potential.
1-0 to Kingstonian at Half Time.
Second Half (7.5):
On the 76th minute, Paul Grundy took a free kick from the right of the box & it met the head of K's centre back Francis Duku at the back post who scored the teams 2nd of the game. Grundy came off for Carl Wilson-Denis on 88 minutes.

An entertaining first half saw Paul Grundy score Kingstonian's 2nd goal on 26 minutes thanks to Dean Lodge playing in a good ball to the near post.
3-2 to Weymouth at Half Time.
Second Half (7.9):
A consistant 2nd half for Grundy, showing that his vision & passing accuracy are as good as his collegues despite such a young age. Grundy was subbed off for Lewis Cook in stoppage time.
4-3 to Kingstonian at Full Time.

An average display from Grundy, nothing spectacular but he has put together a few good passes.

Second Half (6.8):
Almost anonymous in the 2nd half apart from one sublime cross from the left side, Grundy came off for defender Max Elison-Hustwick on 72 minutes.

First Half (7.0):
Paul Grundy made his senior debut for Kingstonian at the age of 14 today & it didn't take long for him to make an impression - on 15 minutes Grundy darted into the box & was brought down by a Wealdstone defender (Ironicly the defender got injured from his foul), Ryan Lake converted the resulting penalty.
1-0 to Kingstonian at Half Time.
Second Half (8.2):
70 minutes into the match Grundy & Lake swapped roles as Lake put in a corner from the right & it met the head of Grundy who nodded home to make it 2-0.
3-0 to Kingstonian at Full Time.

Burnham Ramblers 1-2 Kingstonian, FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round @ Leslie Fields Stadium (att: 337)

First Half (8.1):
On 11 minutes Dean Lodge crossed the ball in to Grundy on the far post & his headder was deflected by the Burnham keeper; the ball then made it's way back to Lodge who aimed for Grundy at the back post again... this time Grundy controlled the ball & fired a shot into the near post to put Kingstonian 2-0 up. Grundy continued to terrorise the lower division side's defence durin the first half.
2-0 to Kingstonian at Half Time.
Second Half (7.7):
The second half was played out as a defensive one for Kingstonian as they looked to hold onto the lead. Grundy made a couple of good runs & put in some great balls but the K's failed to find the net for a third time. At 14 years & 352 days Grundy became the youngest ever player to appear & to score in the FA Cup.
2-1 to Kingstonian at Full Time.
