Tbh that's how I feel when I read majority of your posts in ManUtd or Chelsea thread, you are more concerned than the respective club fans and always shedding negative light on everything.

I can understand though why Liverpool fans are excited considering the job Klopp did at Dortmund but I'm sure if ManUtd employed Klopp you would have posted about quality of PL and all that, how it's so tough here than in Bundesliga.

I tend to stay out of other threads now. People constantly bring SG's slip up in here and other threads and nothing happens but if I make any jokes my post gets removed and I receive a record breaking 87th infraction.

Hahaha, have you really had 86 infractions mate or is that an exaggeration

Before someone brings Stevie G's slip up again, it wasn't that which cost Liverpool the title. It was the screw up at Crystal Palace.

Hahaha it is an exaggeration but I am surprised I haven't been banned.

No. Even if they won at Palace they would have lost title by GD. It was the loss against Chelsea that screwed their title, draw should have done well for Liverpool but that's the benefit of hindsight.

Yep you're correct. As sick as it makes me feel as I am Mr Stevie G since owning a pair of preds with 17 stitched on at the age of 10.

Yes. But imo it wasn't the slip that cost us the title, it was the game plan against Chelsea. We went out like we were in a cup losing on aggregate.

It should of been wrapped up before Chelsea.
No team wins the league conceding 50 plus goals. You can argue all you like that we sacrificed it to be more attacking, however playing a highline with skrtel and toure etc... And the splitting of the cb nonsense was always going to be suicidal.

Not so much sacrificing as he didn't have a frigging clue tactically or defensively. Even against Chelsea it was 'we've been putting 3,4,5 past teams. Go out and muller Chelsea!' in a game we didn't even have to win with it in our own hands. SMDH.

But mercifully that period that should never of been in our history is over and we're onto better things. Talking of .....

Looks like Sturridge is out yet again Sunday. Sighs. Not sure if you risk Benteke from the start so we could well be muddling through with Origi to begin with.

Did we? I thought we went out with the same formation and game plan as we do for every single ******* game under Brendan.

True for that season for sure, but that game plan which worked so well in 13/14 completely went missing in 14/15 and the start of this season.

And to be honest, Chelsea never looked threatening... It was a complete bit of luck that wouldn't happen 9 times out of 10.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing - People on forums have it, managers unfortunately dont

It's not hindsight when you didn't need a win starting the game. All L'pool needed was a draw and win the last two

7 points was all we needed the last three in our own hands.

Chelsea basically played a second choice team and had from interest on winning the game because they were focused on their Champions League tie against PSG. Jose would have been pleased with a draw, less alone a win. Chelsea weren't going to take risks and all Liverpool had to do was play cautiously, keep possession and not play with a suicidal amount of risk. The shocking thing about the game is that they needed a draw against a team that had no intentions of winning and still decided to play gung-ho.

This is the benefit of the hindsight. Liverpool were winning all their games outscoring their opponents easily, there was no need to alter the approach. Had Rodgers played for draw and lost the game, same people would have questioned him for changing well working approach.

Liverpool scored 38 goals and 11 games and won all 11 games before Chelsea game.

It's not exactly like Liverpool were going **** for leather - There were always 3 or 4 men back against Demba Ba

It was just complete misfortune that a slip took every person out of the game
