Speaking of Rafa, poor guy just always has to step into landmine, doesn't he?

Goes to Inter that just won a Treble, the entire team is burned out and basically needs to be scrapped.

Goes to Chelsea, fans go apeshit for no sensible reason.

Goes to Madrid, gets unlimited resources, has a great start (20 scored, 3 conceded or something like that). Suddenly, the whole team goes into injury crisis of a century, Ronaldo who used bang 50 goals a season for years, decides its time to decline, while Benzema, the only real striker in the squad, tries to blackmail a teammate for less money than he makes in a week.

You can't help but laugh. Gotta be bad Karma or something.

Chelsea will just say he's a **** manager that just ruins clubs mate!

These ******* international breaks are too long.

And they're extra pointless when Norway go and lose out to Hungary.

James Milner has created the most chances in the prem for Liverpool with 27. Surely not as bad as some make him out to be.

Its really been too long without Liverpool.

Can't ****** wait for Saturday, my life without liverpool for a couple of weeks seems pointless!

Great to have that feeling back huh? Where you just can't wait for the game again instead of it being a chore.

Fully confident we'll give City a heck of a game Saturday and hopefully come away with all 3 points.

That noise he made after listing out attacking mids (9mins 11) Literally cried with laughter. Idk why

Yeah man it's ace! I'm going to put a tenner on 2-1 to us, have a weird feeling!

its only been a year out of that feeling, would be silly not to give rodgers and the team credit for the season before last! Probably the best days of my football life to be fair!

A team that just can't stop scoring and a team that just can't score. Who makes most of the attacking numbers? Yeah that's Liverpool pundits for you.

In fairness there is no way you take that team though

In no circumstances are Milner and Coutinho, better than Silva and KDB in those positions

Only Clyne gets into that side

He did preface that by saying he was only choosing from what he expects to play today. And he doesn't think Silva will be risked.

Milner ahead of KDB is just flat out batsh*t crazy though like.

If both sides had a full compliment of players to pick from, there's probably only 2 I'd have in from ourselves. Sakho partnering Kompany. And Lucas rather than his compatriot Fernando. Firmino has the potential to be one of the attacking three, but not quite yet in England.

Klopp's the great leveller at present.

We haven't got anything like the best players in the league. Outside of Sturridge, who's never fit (and I don't expect anywhere near the 18 today. Fine with Origi on the bench to send the message that there's no entitlement here no matter who you are or how good/ important you are. If you aren't fit enough to do what we now expect, you aren't under consideration); there's no real WC players in the squad. Phil has the potential, but his form has been woeful this year. Firmino has flashed that he can be a serious playmaker you could build around, but he's still finding his feet in England. So on paper compared to the other 4, we'd lose out the majority of the time right now.

But we now have a manager who's right up there with anything else which we've not had since Kenny his first go-around. You could make a case for Rafa but Arsenal, Chelsea or Utd wouldn't of swapped him at the time and he certainly wasn't up there with Ferguson and Mourinho so I discount him. Now we have a manager any of the other four would be made up with to have as their next boss.

We might well get battered today. Which whilst not being nice, obviously, wouldn't be too down heartening. We aren't on City's level and they'll batter most sides when they're on form. But I'm expecting not to get beat and have a good feeling we'll see something like the Chelsea performance. He's had another 2 weeks solid work with the bulk of them which should improve things that little bit more. He's already schooled Mourinho (yet again); and I believe has the edge over Pelegrini thus far. So with a full fortnight to prepare a gameplan the prospects are exciting but we shall see.

Hopefully over the next few years we start adding that higher calibre of player to level that playing field even further.

KDB is the only mistake there IMO... Get in EASILY ahead of Milner but with all the current injuries of both teams that side is almost spot on

(I would personally have Fernandinho instead)

LMAO .....Reporter 'What do you have to do to beat City?

Klopp 'Shoot the ball in the goal and don't concede one.'

Ask a stupid question .....

Firmino the false 9 again. See what they've been working on the past 2 weeks with no Brazil duty then. Lot of interchanging that front three with firepower on the bench when they're worn down.

90 minutes hard work Redmen. Lets do these!

Oh yeah, **** off Raheem yer jumped up lil' rat yer!
