I must say I laughed at the people on Twitter that are still blaming Rodgersfor every bad result

Fun fact: We've lost our last 3 replays in the 3rd round of the FA Cup - all 3 were at home against teams in lower divisions.

You sure on that mate?

4 lads in a car here wracking our brains and trying not to look up and all we can come up with is Reading? Pretty sure Luton when Gerrard bagged the hat-trick under Rafa will be in there.

Presumably down to he/ the committee building a ***** squad we're having to muddle through with?

Who in the World thinks of Rodgers at all last night? Idiots.

Found it amusing that Exeter fans are singing the Steven Gerrard slipped on his **** song.

Gerrard's ******** is worth more than Exeter Football Club. .....

Sure it will amuse and not surprise, but what they had to say about you my friend would make a docker blush. #insulardevonrivalrys

Although had to laugh with 'Is it your hamstring?' when Ilori went down late.

That team :O

Surely L'pool have better players who are available?

With pretty much a core of 13/14 players playing for well over a month now, and 13 senior injuries, we kind of didn't.

I did think before the game maybe Allen and Milner would start just coming back. But on that pitch I'm glad they didn't. Amusing the living **** out of me reading the press this AM and the question being asked why Lallana and Lucas weren't brought on. Again, on that bog of a field I'm glad they weren't. that would be just encouraging adding to the current casualty risk.

If we were all on a break right now we wouldn't have this problem.

I don't think Klopp minds losing this. Tbh, I don't overly mind. Could do with less games with the way Klopp plays

Never say that mate regardless. You always want to win silverware. And 2006 is TOO long to be without the Cup.

DESPERATELY wanting 2 final days out at Anfield South this year.

Your kidding right. The guy is a lampost, its not like were asking so much from him, just a little bit of movement here and there. Every cross that comes in wont be perfect but if he isnt gambling whats the point.

I agree his movement is poor, but the service was utterly disgraceful last night.

Literally a simple 20 yard chipped ball was being underhit, overhit, mis-directed... Crosses were non-existent and then when we attempted them it was a similar story as to the chipped balls.

He was the senior player in the team and he should have contributed more, but whilst the young lads did well in some areas the service to Benteke was **** poor

Seen massive rumours Pool are in for Alexandre Pato good move if true

God no. I understand he's been relatively healthy the last two years back home, but I'm still bitten from his Milan stint when he was Sturridge before Sturridge knew what a hossi bed was!

Top notch talent. But misses WAY too much game time. Both actual and coming off during.

I'll back Klopps judgement if he does come. But there has to be a big question mark there health wise.

You'd be hoping his injury problems are behind him because he has been free of major injury for 2-3 years now

If he has it is a very good signing because he is the type of player we need up front. Just question marks about his health!

My source is liverpool.no and they're usually right, but they don't list the actual games, it's just a footnote at the end of an article. But yeah that Luton game does come to mind. I guess I just assumed it was correct, but I sent them a mail to get their facts straight haha.

At Milan I think his injuries had a lot to do with his off the field antics, trust me you won't be signing the player who was at milan. I follow Brazilian football mate and he looks like the Pato of old to me and if Klopp is the motivator that people make him out to be he could be the man to bring the very best out of Pato.

Ok. Cheers mate. Appreciated.

Been meaning to ask you anyhow seeing as I do not follow Italian football at all anymore, what the **** has happened to Stephen El Sharaary (spelling), seen he has been on loan at Monaco and is on the verge of signing on loan for Bournemouth apparently now too. Wtf happened to him?

Pato is exactly the type of striker Liverpool could do with right now, is it a gamble? Yes but name me a striker at this point who isn't that you could actually get in this window.

Benteke was never a Liverpool striker, he's decent on the ball but a Liverpool striker is more about what he does off it as well. Defending from the front so to speak. Making space for players behind such as Coutinho to flourish and all that jazz. Esepcially important with Klopp in charge, a striker has to have more to his game than Benteke has.

Injury's.

He had that great first full season when he was scoring for fun. But the last two years have been one breakdown after another. He'd get back. then he was gone for another lengthy spell. He was actually starting to look like he was getting his form back the back end of last season and I was real surprised when they not only loaned him to Monaco, but agreed a future fee with them too predicated on games played being as Milan have little else. As he's now nearly reached that figure, he won't be playing another game for Monaco as they don't want him down to his apparent poor form. Which is worrying as the French League is hardly a high standard of football to be kind. So he's kind of stuck. Milan don't want him back but still have him stuck under contract.

Never been a massive fan TBH. He has talent, don't get me wrong. But never consistent or strong enough and his pace covered a lot.

Reading up on the views on Pato, and daring to dream haha; the little Brazilian in January and Götze in the summer would be a very nice early return to say the least.

Pato would be excellent signing. Gamble? Yes but if clicked the returns are way too high.

U'18's just beat Utd 3-0 apparently. I know, but it's both Utd, which is always worth celebrating, :D; and after someone misguidedly argued on here recently we lagged well behind Chelsea, City and Utd at youth level, it's another reminder we actually don't.

LVG's brilliance is shining through it seems.
