Been horrendous gales here BTW. Can't see much pretty football being played.

A night for really digging in and wanting it more.

you going the game tonight? Hoping the atmosphere will be booming

Yup and yup.

In the Kemmy where I haven't been in years (back when it was just the Kemlyn without the 2nd tier) so a bit gutted at that as the Kop should be bouncing. We need to play our part every bit as much as the players. The first leg has set this up perfectly.

im in the main stand, never been able to get tickets for the kop, hopefully will one day. If the crowds not up for it tonight dont know when they we be

Seems a lot of the rumours today are that Liverpool will pay the 38mil asking price but a certain amount of it will be performance based add-ons

Probably the most sensible way of doing it. If he performs we pay a high fee but no-one will complain, and if he doesn't the fee wont increase.

An odd signing for me I have to say, I don't know a lot about this guy so I can't really judge him that much but we're talking £30+million for someone who hasn't even been capped at international level for Brazil and he's 26. Can he really be that good and be unnoticed all this time?

Secondly, he's an attacking midfielder, which to me, if there is one area you do not need, it is this one. Klopp obviously must have some kind of idea how he will fit with Coutinho, but it's still a bit odd to me.

He's not unnoticed, the Brazilian coach doesn't want to/like to pick players who play in Ukraine apparently and that's the reason for Teixeira pushing the move so much

As mentioned a few pages ago, our best play this season has been with Firmino up-front and a interchangeable front 2/3 so that doesn't really bother me that much

With Benteke, Origi, Sturridge and Ings available/to come back our attacking options will be quite good with further improvement likely in the summer

Oh, a bit strange if that's true about not wanting to pick players who play in a certain country, didn't know about that anyway.

It will certainly be interesting to see how Klopp utilises your attacking options, especially if Texeira comes in I'll be curious how he works him into the team with Coutinho there as well. Although if there is one good thing about this signing it is that you might only see Lallana on the bench. :P

Quite a few Ukrainian based players have mentioned it as Ukraine is not seen as a big enough league in Brazil, even though his stats are fantastic

It will indeed, we will certainly have options! Lallana is a strange one, when he came on against Norwich he looked fantastic. He is a good squad player, but ultimately not good enough as a regular starter IMO

Lallana is a £15m player at best. I can't imagine Klopp putting Coutinho or Firmino on the bench at the moment, so it has to be Lallana. But we still need a striker in the summer though. A fit one. Who uses his legs. Ings and Origi won't be enough, and Sturridge and Benteke don't fit the description...

Dominating only second half. First half both theme where clueless what to do. Stoke only was looking long ball to Crouch head.
Doesn't matter there tactical approach of long balls as they are leading. According to the first half, statically they were ahead as well although still clueless.

Would of loved to see Stoke get to the final as for me they deserved it. Fair play to Liverpool though and I'm hoping for a cracking final!

Great win, Stoke's goal should never have stood anyway.

Good to see Flanagan manage 105 minutes, though he should probably count himself lucky not to be given a second yellow. But after 20(?) months out it's understandable you're not exactly match fit.

Anyone fancy getting me tickets to the final (A)
