Klopp has said that Flanno needs to build up his 'physical resistance' so he's a no go at the moment. And Randall was meant to start today with Clyne on the bench. He got injured so Clyne started and that meant only 6 on the bench.

Klopp was also going to bring him off but Studge asked to play the full 90mins and Klopp let him.

Ta for the info on Clyne and Sturridge mate.

Guess Daniel does have 4 days to Thursday like to recover.

Big *** Homer J 'DOH!'

LOL. I thought UEFA had gone soft on Basle for minute. I was like WTF? They've moved quite a few Main Stand seasonies to the Anny and Centenary to open up more match day tickets in the new stand. Forget the percentage of new seats but I'll dig it out.

Sounds a **** week mate. Sorry to read that. Get well and get sorted for Thursday! Need every voice we've got!

It's been horrible mate. Got ill on the day an assignment got set which is due in 2 days and I haven't even had a chance to do it. Was going to wait until I'm 100% again to avoid chatting absolute **** on it but I think I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and make a start on it. I need a good grade on it as well my life is depending on it.

Haha no sorry mate not basel! I'm on 6,000 on the waiting list so I'm not expecting to get one but hopefully I'll be near the top of the list now.

Shithouse that fella'. Screw the media B/S Danny lad. Go bang in 3 Thursday!

It's Sunday and I'm in exam mode, so I overslept as the match started way too early anyway. Managed to avoid spoilers and figured I'd enjoy watching the game even though it was finished hours ago. Wish I hadn't. Absolutely dreadful.

Just a day or two since Klopp said he was impressed with the squad, but today showed many of our second best options just don't cut it. Ojo is still too young and inexperienced to play a major part in anything, he's only 18 though so that's expected. Ibe can't get out of his **** run of form, although he did some things better today than last time he still runs with the ball too long at times and makes the wrong decisions. Skrtel doesn't add safety at the back, be interesting to see if he'll stick with Kolo vs Villareal. Smith will want to forget today, same goes for Chirivella. Stewart continues to not impress much, he's what, 22? Don't currently see a future for him at the club. Ward was mostly good, though a better GK would've done something at the first goal. Just an all-round **** performance. Pressing game was non-existent, tempo likewise.

Thursday will have to be 10x better, and I fully expect it to.

Don't get Chirivella getting continued looks at all. Not seen anything to think he can cut it at this level with his frame every time we've seen him. Brannagan was the one for me to partner Stewart. (Agreed he was poor. The whole midfield just got completely bossed out of the game WAY too easily.).

Funny how nobody's really arsed at all though as everyone is just looking to Thursday haha.

*Edit* Well, apart from a few trying to make a non-story out of Sturridge going straight down the tunnel.

The media stuff with DS and injuries is bollocks. Klopp stuck with Gundogan for FIFTEEN months over his back issues.

Unless he wants out (which he doesn't) he will be there.

Götze: Dortmund confident he wants to come back. But negotiations with Bayern have not started. Complicated by Hummels. (1)

Dortmund hinting at possibility to pick Götze up for free in 2017. Most likely outcome: part-exchange plus € for Hummels this summer. (2)

Read that earlier. Fella's got some MASSIVE ones if he goes back to Dortmund. He's hated just a little less than his current club are there for how that all went down.

The fans will make him work for their love again, but they do want him home. And the club want him back too. They know their fans, wouldnt bring him back if he was going to be fully rejected.

Honestly, that wasn't the feeling you got from BvB fans when we played them a few weeks back. Gotze was a natural player to ask them on given their 'dislike' for Munich.

Let's say they were far from complimentary. 'Make him work for their love again' is an understatement!

Polish Cup Final today ..... WTF?! How do they get away with that? And we get f-ed for a few flares!:

Politics. Ruling party has sort of alligned itself with the ultras. They provide a crowd and organized pro-goverment chanting at demonstrations, and in return they get a pass on **** like this. People who make noise that it's a fire hazard tend to lose their jobs quickly.

****** up situation all around.

****** up's not the word. Bet there were a few people really struggling to breath in there.

Saw a poll for who will win next year. Man United apparently!

So happy for Leicester though, it's a win for football :D

Just watching the Leicester player's celebrate at Vardy's and singing 'Champione, Champione ..... ' (Personal aside. I'd give them a week to fix that and drop the 'h' to what it always was when it was brought back from Italian/ Spanish European trips rather than this PL cHampione **** that's sprung up and is now sadly the norm. Or else I'mma taking the title off yers for being a bunch of beuts!).

Thinking I'm probably the only one that remember's singing 'Campione, Campione, Campione Liv-er-pool!'

Thinking I'm getting old.

Thinking it's been WAY too long since that was a regular part of our song book.

Thinking this REALLY needs to change and fast!
