What would the French do? Start Mangala? Ideally it would have been Koscielny and Varane. Now after injuries, France are stuck with an erratic horror show called Mangala in defence. Surely it would make sense to call up Sakho?

Logically one would think but Deschamps is adamant that ain't happening.

Although looking at the in form, top talent he's left out of the French squad what's going through his mind right now is anyones guess?

So if I'm reading you right, Liverpool FC should be the ones to blame and not UEFA? Is that correct?
 
Not sure exactly how this is UEFAs fault. It was on the banned list (thus he failed) they have since decided the aren't even sure it should be on the banned list. Technically they would still be within rights to leave him banned until they decide. But they haven't done so.

So it's exactly Uefa's fault then? They've banned a player for using a banned substance which they aren't sure is on the banned list?

Everyone knew he was going to receive a 30 day ban.

No. They are investigating whether it should remain on the banned list. It currently still is on the banned list. He still failed a drug test. What you said is not what I wrote.
 
What people don't understand about drugs lists is that they are dynamic. Things can come on and off the banned list. It's why sportsmen and women in all competitions need to be aware of the changes. Which they are notified of.

UEFA could easily decide it should stay on the list and then his ban would be extended.

No problem. It's being badly reported in Liverpool circles. Its not that they don't know. It's because after evidence offered by his lawyer, they are deciding whether it should stay. It's good they are willing to listen. Some bodies would ignore it rather than admit they can learn something

Mehhhh. How much are ticks mate? And rekkon virgin trains will still be cheap at the mo? May surprise the arl fella for his birthday.

From £26 up IIRC. All through Ticketmaster from 10 tomorrow. Just a pain with the last train being 8:10 PM and the 5 PM kick off. Cuts it fine after. £41.20 is the cheapest I can see as I type.

Kind of 'meh' on it. Weekend's out on two counts. Charity Shield puts all the prices up and us and Utd in London the same weekend is never a good thing. Plus can see it being a complete woolfest with the tickets available to anyone. Be nice to see Louis again like.

Personally hoping the Mainz game gets confirmed the Sunday. Defo swerve Wembley for a weekend there. Klopp taking L'pool home to both Dortmund and Mainz in the space of 5 months would be boss.

Probably do most the domestic ones. Defo Fleetwood for a new ground and probably Tranmere and Wigan. Cheap and handy enough like.

Going to give Barca a miss, bearing in mind it'll around £150 at least for me and the arl fella and I'm skint as ****. Might just drive him to Wigan.

Might be a silly question, but do priorities still stand in friendlies?

You'd of had to of waited until Friday anyways. Wasn't thinking last night but its ST holders today and tomorrow for Barca. Should get a Wigan ticket off the general mate. They're all up tomorrow to seasonies first (which is SO niice of the club so soon after the season), then the general sale. Forget the exact info but they've put it up.

Think I'll grab a cheap Barca ticket and wait and see if Mainz comes off which has all gone quiet again. Sigjs.
