All I see is a left winger mate if im being honest and thats one position we actually have cover for. He might have played on the right but it's not his position. Still believe we are the only ones who will pay the price for Diomande because like you said outside of him and Barcola its not really looking good...

He spent most of his time at Lyon on the right before PSG.

But I don’t think any winger will be married to a side under Iraola save maybe for Gakpo if he stays. He likes interchangeable ones that switch during the game.

Well Ramano and Hawkins are saying Diomande only wants PSG. And Barcola won’t be leaving and there signing another attacker to replace the just sold Ramos. Will have to see what happens. But i can’t see you guys coming out with Diomande now. As pretty much everyone is saying he’s chosen them. And will be a double blow if they keep Barcola also.

The only way Barcola is at PSG next season is if they don’t sign Diomande.

He wants out. Never mind the numbers game.

Loving that RBL are digging their heels in over selling Diomande.

Hope it drags on all summer after he and his advisors patently lied and played us.

Hopefully arsenal are focused on Rogers so we can get a clear run at him. Theres also the other bundlesiga star Said El Mala. He can apparently play across the entire frontline.

£130 million on Roger’s head.

The PL market is one to defo swerve this summer.

116M?!!!! For Barcola what on earth is this market????
IF and it’s still a big if they sell. They will ask for around that. They fleeced us nearly £70 for Ugarte who they wanted rid of let a lone a player they want to keep. Markets nuts though. £85m Fernandes, £80m Scott, £130m Anderson, £100m plus for Tonali, £100m for Nmecha, £120 or 30m Diomande

🚨 Simon Francis already working at Al Hilal & leading transfer business; Richard Hughes expected to follow. Liverpool sporting director yet to sign + fully focused on #LFC this summer but #AlHilal operating on basis 47yo joins in due course @TheAthleticFC

Taking that with a pinch of salt as Ornsteins got loads wrong of late. The day before Slot went he was steadfast in saying he was safe. 🤦‍♂️

These rumours are getting ridiculous on Hughes.

None of it makes any sense. Overseeing our summer window. But has agreed to leave thereafter? All very, very weird.

It will be interesting to see if he’s involved with the first presser of Iraola, like he was Arne’s. That may well clear things up.

🙏❤️🇵🇹

The end of the Portugal game hit you this AM with their even more personal grief. 1 year ago man. We were bouncing as Champions, and all the summer spend ….. And then the news came through from Spain ….. 😢

Beautiful words from Arne which just adds to the man and the dignified, humble way he superbly lead us all through an unprecedented time no man should ever be charged with-

‘‘Moments like these remind you that football is never the most important thing. As a coach, you spend so much time thinking about training sessions, matches and results, but something like this immediately puts everything into perspective. My thoughts are with Diogo, his wife Rute and the children, his parents, his family and friends, and everyone who loved him. We all miss him deeply.

“If I think about the person he was, I always come back to the same things. He always put the team first. He got on well with everyone, regardless of their role, and he had a special way of making people feel valued. Those qualities earned him the respect of everyone around him, and they are the reason we miss him so much. He will always be remembered very fondly. That is the legacy he leaves behind.

“He wasn’t only a great player; he was someone who brought people together.

“It is very emotional to see how Portugal are honouring Diogo,” [referring among other things to the wristbands]

“Wearing those armbands is a beautiful gesture. It reflects how much respect and affection everyone had for him. He wasn’t only a great player; he was someone who brought people together. He cared about the group, always put the team first, and made everyone around him feel important.”

God rest our forever 20. 🙏❤️🇵🇹

The only reason i say there's smoke in this is because during the unveiling of Iraola and the media behind it, Hughes was nowhere to be seen. Instead his assistant whos rumoured to be taken over whos name escapes me was doing the media and in the videos etc...
