If we do have any chance of signing a player of his caliber, we need to act quick.. it has cost us on our two big targets this summer so far

A front four of Suarez - Coutinho - Willian - Sturridge is quite exciting though

£30 mil? Blimey. Could be worth it though, he's a great player.

Willian in 2012: "Every time I get the chance I watch Liverpool. They are a very important club."

"Despite all their [#LFC] problems they have a great chance to get back to the top of English football again."

"He [Lucas] spoke so highly about Anfield and we saw that the facilities behind the scenes are fantastic."

I saw this quote flying around as well... but is it actually genuine, or something made up on social media and the point of him being linked to us?

No idea. Saw it posted somewhere. I don't really trust any source unless it's someone directly connected with the club.

It sounds like one of those quotes whose actually words have changed, like chinese whispers.

Bear in mind, he wanted chelsea, but went Anzhi. So where he might want to go, and what suits the selling club might be two different things.

Luis Suarez has told Uruguayan journalist Martin Charquero he won't be leaving Liverpool and will probably extend his LFC contract.

Suárez' decision was heavily influenced by the supporters and he now even sees it as a possibility to renew his contract

Quotes from Martin Charquero's twitter! Massive news for us if true.

More like, he couldn't get the move he wanted. Got nowt to do with the fans.

Assuming its even remotely true.

apparently that guy talks loads of BS

either way, he obviously doesn't mean it if it's true. he's realised his move's failed, now he wants to 'stay'

Suarez would burn his way out of Anfield if it guaranteed a move. He has previous, twice.

Everyone in football knows its because a move to Arsenal was never going to happen.. However, I couldn't care less.

He may be a bit of an idiot but he is one of the few genuine world class players we have.. Was vital to keep him

A bit of an idiot?

The man makes Rooney look like a saint in his transfer history. He's burnt you 3 times already for various reasons.

idiot is an understatement.

You might as well say Hitler was just a naughtly little boy.

He is a complete C**t ... But still our best player

we all know this is just an attempt to make amends because a move didn't materialise but as long as he changes his attitude and continues to play like last season then I won't be too fussed

A new contract is almost certainly going to have clear clauses, probably relating to only foreign clubs for
a certain fee

For what it is worth, that same guy reported both Higuain to Arsenal was a done deal as well as Suarez to Arsenal was a done deal just a couple weeks ago.

Fan support = the new escaping the media. He'll be off at the next available opportunity.

Suarez to sign a new contract with a proper release clause, and Arsenal to immediately activate?
