Just saying i dont think we will get him.. absolutely no chance

But interesting to see Marca and the Mirror reporting Bids or interest and BBC reporting the apparent interest is nonsense

I can see him leaving if Jose doesn't plan on using him.
The reality is probably that Jose will use him though. I really can't see Jose leaving out a player like Mata. He is one of Chelsea's best players, and probably they're best creative player. It's ridiculous

Mourinho loves to be controversial and put his own stamp on the side..

Casillas at Madrid is the perfect example, it has even led to Ancelotti now dropping him as well

True. Still can't quite understand it myself but Mourinho is a one of a kind fella. IF Mata does go, whoever picks him up has done very well

That's too late now for anymore signings, right? A couple of hours left

Never say never. Still saying Given may be brought in by the deadline however his wage demands may be an issue. Would love to know if theres any truth in the Mata rumours

It's the only thing I think of today

Casillas at Madrid was not the perfect example. If anything it shows what a spoiled brat Casillas is and he is worse than Tevez. He leaked dressing room stories to the press, then was dropped and kept on leaking information about player vs coach fights.

Even Madrid fans chanted "**** off Casillas" during the last few games last season.

This season when Ancelotti rested him because of the late preseason he again acted like ***** by leaking few stories to the press and rightfully lost his place. Hopefully Ancelotti lets him rot on the bench.

It was a simple example of Dropping a key figure at Madrid.. Like he has dropped a key player at Chelsea

Wasn't going into everything like that

Very happy with the window in the end... would have been good to add that extra attacking player but if none were available for a decent price the signing of Moses on loan will guide us through to Jan or the next summer

Season is promising

Yeah...overall solid transfer window for us....even if in some wild imagination we actually signed Mata I think that would be just over top. Can' fit him anywhere without throwing either Coutinho or Suarez out.****,even re-instating Suarez into first 11 is difficult task now.:D

I think it would be quite easy to incorporate Suarez back in and Mata if he was to sign in some dream world

Suarez - Coutinho - Mata
Sturridge

Or

Lucas - Gerrard - Hendo

Suarez - Sturridge - Coutinho

A player similar to Wilshere would fit like a glove to your second formation. Sits both deep but is involved in the attack. Gerrard might be a little too old for such role, but we remain to see!

Henderson has been fantastic so far. His work rate epitomises what Liverpool are trying to achieve and his pressing is vital in our good start

We're sacrificing a lot of attacking due to that which worries me a little

With the attacking options we have we can always change it quite quickly which is a positive... added most games this season first half we have created a hatful of chances but just not taken them

Great option to have, particularly in tight matches such as United and other big teams

Casillas wasn't dropped because Jose wanted to put his stamp on the side though, he was dropped because he tried to rule the dressing room. Mata is a model professional and doesn't have anything close to the same ego. Not trying to nitpick, but the circumstances are almost entirely different. The only similarity is that Mata is also Spanish.

Fine... All i was doing was comparing two key players who were starting before Mourinho came in and are starting no more

The main point of the whole thing was Mata is now not a regular starter for Chelsea which i find bizarre

As much as I feel the urge to panic, there's been plenty of reasons to rest Mata. It's 3 games in the season; after 10 we can talk about regular starters.

Glad we loaned out Borini, won't get much playing time here and Di Canio seems to a big fan so hopefully he finds his feet. Does anyone know if/ how much Sunderland paid? Would be nice to get a fraction of the £11m we spent on him back! Also, is there a future fee on Moses? I know we paid about £1m to bring him in on loan.

Mourinho's played around with his tactics these past few games so I wouldn't take too much from his starting 11.
