I'm just as nervous about that game as I am against Chelsea.

Let the games begin.

Mignolet needs to get his act together for the final 4 games, he was visibly shell-shocked by trophy challenge yesterday.

The foul was there but I don't see how its a straight up red.
It's a slightly harsh, but I think fair, decision.

Massive win for Liverpool today but i think i understimated Chelsea's position. I didn't actually realise the gap was only 5 points so win today goes to 2 and beat Liverpool at Anfield and we are top. So if we win today (which i have my doubts) the league is also in Chelsea's hands as well as Liverpools.
To be honest, saying that the league's in Chelsea's hands isn't strictly true. By saying that, you're implying that Chelsea are guaranteed the league if they pick up maximum points, which isn't true because you lot require us or City to drop points too.

The refereeing was shocking yesterday for both sides - Suarez probably should've been sent off but should've had a penalty (from the Kompany push); City should've had a penalty from the Skrtel handball (debatable, I suppose, since he looked away) - which is probably the only time two wrongs make a right. And don't forget the terrible offside call against Sterling back in December, which practically cost us the game (although we were poor in front of goal that day) - I think this is reasonable compensation for the poor refereeing in that game!

Getting maximum points ( Chelsea ) would automatically mean losing points for Liverpool as you have that game. I also think City will drop points without Toure.

Yes, but even winning that game (which will be difficult for either side) wouldn't guarantee them the title, so it's technically not in their hands.

But but bu..... Chelsea were out the title race?

Mourinho's 'brilliant' mind games that were quite frankly ridiculous

He was brilliant for me. The only thing I could fault him on was missing the punch when we cleared it off the line?

Everything else was brilliant. Ball distribution, reflex saves, and catching and holding on to the ball.

It's embarrassing for them. They actually all believe him as well. You should say that in the Chelsea thread. The amount of plastic comments you get are brilliant.

If they don't win the league then they're not arsed because he said they wouldn't.
If they win the league he'll be labelled a mastermind and that'll be the only reason they won it.

Brilliant humour.

Wow wow wow ... The amount of spin you guys put is amazing. Guess someone is getting smug because they are top of the league eh ;)

Its nothing to do with spin or us being top of the league.. I really like Mourinho but some of his comments about 'little horses' and being out of the title race is hilarious. Chelsea have one of the best squads in the world, let alone the Premier League

Chelsea and City should be winning the league, it will be a disappointment to whoever doesn't out of them two..

Tbf Liverpool fans have every reason to be smug. Rodger's has done an absolutely tremondous job this season and defied all the critics, irrespective if they're in cup competitions.

First time I have seen a squad being characterized as one of the best in the world despite having no decent striker

The only people its embarrassing for is the people who keep bringing up what Jose says because that's exactly what Jose want's yet every keeps being like putty in his hands.

That's funny because when the season started everyone said we had no chance because we never had a "decent" striker. And when he was talking about the horses thing he is looking at the squads and Chelsea's is relatively young and not completed yet, from day 1 he has said next season (2014/15) this squad will be a big horse if you will.

Really now? Pretty much every preseason prediction done had Chelsea pinned for top three and the only team challenging City/United for the title. The only reason any Chelsea fan has been saying they are out of it is because of Mourinho, every other person saw them as a title contender and if you didn't then you're a bit of an idiot.

You have one of the best set of attacking midfielders around and Eto'o despite being 304 has been doing well for you, the clubs own fault they shipped out Lukaku again.

Wrong, i wrote an article before the season even started and even before any transfers that for me the league was not a priority this season and most Chelsea fans actually agreed with it. The main priorities for me this season were top 4, closer than 14 points to the eventual champions if not us and the most important one was the same man in charge this time next season (when i wrote this in the summer).

On Eto'o no-one believed he would be this decent its been a surprise to us all. And the Lukaku loan just highlights he was A) not ready for Chelsea and B) Chelsea planning for past this season.

I guess it's cool when B-Rod comes out and says that the the title isn't a priority despite the fact that he has Suarez and only has had the league to focus on since erm January? YNWA
