Seems Bony is the latest player to be linked with Liverpool, with some even saying we have met his representatives... Wouldn't mind in tbh. Scored goals no matter where he has gone

Liverpool never seem to replace world class with players already at that level.. Torres and Suarez were relatively unheard of on the world stage until they signed for us

Spanish papers are saying the deal is 75 Million Euro and English papers are reporting 75 Million pounds.

Said as soon as he got banned that selling him was the best option for Liverpool. Mental Barca paying that much for someone who is banned and someone who will re-offend! Remember when everyone thought Barca was holy than thou football club, tax evasions and this later and things all change!

No hard feelings towards Suarez, just like Torres - both moved to clubs in a better position of challenging on all fronts

we'll move on, just got to re-invest wisely

But if Sky sports are just using other papers as sources, they will still be wrong. I usuallt trust the continental fee. Apparently British papers still don't understand conversion rates.

BBC, Liv Echo and Sky Sports all reporting 75mil

It wont be lower. Spanish papers just reporting lower fees like they did with both Neymar and Bale to make their clubs look better

He's also to appeal the ban with Barca aswell at the Court of Arbitration for Sport which I frankly think is a terrible idea. Good way to get the ban extended

Yeah, but they could still be wrong that's my point. BBC still think Rooney is the best paid player in the world. And teh Spanish papers are not a homogenous unit.

Yeah, they all seem to cover and glorify their own team

So why are papers who dont cover their own team, also reporting it as 80m euros? I might as well say Echo keeping it high to make Liverpool look good. BBC and SSN are notoriously bad at converting Euro figures.

Fair enough - but i'll be amazed if it is anything below his 75mil release clause

Almost every Spanish paper has it at around 80m Euros. British papers could be right. But going by their recent track history, I'm usually inclined to look at continental papers for anything that involves a price conversion.
