Rumours going round Shaqiri has told his agent he wants to join Inter and not keen on move to England.

What do you mean GET Origi? We have signed him already but still on a loan deal. Do you mean recall him early and no doubt have to pay a fee to do so?

Recalling him early - 3m fee

this where paying that little extra comes into the equation if true

personally, i'm not sure why you would want to join Inter over Liverpool

Agree just slip him few extra K a week sorted. Maybe just don't like sunny England:)

I was worried about it when he signed for Barcelona but Suarez looks half the player he was last season

despite Barcelona being a better club with bigger ambitions and more trophies, Luis will always play second or third fiddle behind Messi and Neymar

Liverpool played fast counter attacking game where he had lot of space to play with, now with Barca he will get none.

5 clubs realistically competing for 3 CL spots as opposed to the competition in the PL and, unless they suddenly start reverting their serious decline, Milan aren't going to be that challenging, making it 4 clubs for 3 spots. Inter are struggling right now but that's mainly due to Mazzarri being the ridiculously dogmatic man that he is, next season they should really be pushing for a top 3 spot under Mancini.

I'd also probably note that he's also not done well in a team oriented pressing system so maybe he wants to go to a club and a league where he can concentrate more on attack.

I dont think he will, but Barcelona will be hoping Suarez doesn't go down the Torres route once he left Liverpool

That could be true... As said earlier, if Liverpool want him then it may take a few extra thousand a week to tempt him

What if he wants to live in Milan rather than Liverpool? Not every player dreams of PL.

According to some reports, Neto (fiorentina keeper) has set sights on joining Liverpool in the summer on a free. Decent keeper? I have used him in game but never really seem him IRL.

Suso has agreed terms with AC Milan on a free end of contract (so they say) which is a shame if true. A bright young player I was hoping to shine in a red top.

Not sure if anyone else has heard this one, but Lucas +3m could be going to Inter and Guarin coming our way? Would be a good signing I personally think so anyways.

Just heard Rodgers is interested in Berninho from West Brom this window too but they want £20m. I would rather get Higuian for that.

I said i personally dont see why he would want to join Inter over Liverpool - he can do as he pleases

I would always prefer to join a better league, with arguably a better team and be also earning more money

Higuain would be at the very least double that - but i do agree 20m is too much

Heard a few people on twitter saying Higuian and Lavezzi would cost Liverpool around £42.5m for both. But it's the January window, we spend a lot in the summer so I can't see us spending much in this one.

Maybe because you are Liverpool fan so you can't see why someone might want to join Inter than Liverpool ;). Same with us too. Club bias.

Btw not all players like premier league and the physical play. For example, James Rodriguez said he doesn't want to join PL at least now as it's too physical and he don't like it.

Has no one considered Shaqiri may not want to come because he's had a look at the strikers or I should say, lack of strikers, that he will be able to provide/assist to. Unless we count Balotelli and Lambert which I doubt would excite him.

If that is true then it would certainly be a signal of intent - and good value!

It's not because im a Liverpool fan, it's because its simply a better, more competitive league in which you will earn more money as well - downside is living in Milan compared to Liverpool is not competition haha

Without doubt - many of the technical players you see in countries like Spain and Germany would really struggle over here

It's not as if Inter are blessed - they are in a worse situation than Liverpool. Currently sit 11th and have Palacio, Icardi and Osvaldo as their attacking options

That's if we assume Inter is the only other option, which I doubt. Even if they were I'd still say providing for Palacio or Osvaldo is more tempting than Balotelli or Lambert.

I have respect for Lambert, even though he's not good enough for top 4 club which Liverpool are aiming to be this season he still gives it his all.... Balotelli on the other hand.

Sturridge is to come back and Sterling is our main striker now that Rodgers has realised Lambert and Balotelli are pretty useless in the current system

Either way i think it will come down to simply if Liverpool offer him enough (unless a huge team comes in for him)

How many attacking midfeilders do we need i think buying Shaqiri would be a waste of money

Can the Liverpool defence handle the strongest footballer in the world?
